I have an Epson Stylus Photo 1280. When I print text, it all comes out with blue highlighting on it. I have cleaned the print heads several times but the problem persists, and now I'm getting a message saying I need to replace the ink cartridges. Could the highlighting be caused by dirty print heads or low ink levels?

Sometimes my Epson C48 stops printing in the middle of a printing job. It's status remains PRINTING, green light keeps on flashing but ink monitor can't detect any ink levels and printing head is in it's most right position. Cartriges have enough ink. What is wrong with my epson printer or my printing software?
