Hi,

That would really depend on your desired cooling. i would say 24 deg C is a good setting. this would be like getting out on a cool day.

I hope this help.

Is there a product used for cleaning air conditioner fins covered with mineral deposits

I'm certain you are referring to spots on your condensing coil. These are from someone putting coil cleaner on it and not rinsing it well enough. I see it everday and no they will not come off.

I am new to a heat pump. The thermostat has an 'auto' setting and an 'on' setting. I am confused as to which one to use for heat. Can you help me?

n most heat pump thermostats you have two control switches and the temp setting. One control switch will say "Heat", "Off", "Cool" while the other says "On" and "Auto". The three position switch is for whether you are heating or cooling. The two position switch is for the fan control. "On" will make the fan run constantly whenever the three position switch is in HEAT or COOL mode. Some people use this to circulate air at all times. MOST people use the AUTO mode, where the fan is controlled by the circuitry and runs during the times of heating and cooling only.

Starting procedure for stihl 012 av

Full choke, stop switch on run. Pull rope handle 3-4 times or more until it "tries to start" (it will not start, but it will try to for a split second) move the choke lever to the half-choke position and without pulling the throttle, poll the rope handle until the engine fires and runs for 4-5 seconds then fully open the choke to the run position, let it warm up for 25-30 seconds (don't forget to let it cool down about 45-60 seconds before you turn it off!) and then proceed to use it.

Information needed: Celsius WF-604 Air Cooler - Their are 2 Push Button Switches on the cooler the: The Cool Push Button Switch and the Swing Push Button Switch. This creates a total of 4 sets of...

The on/off COOL switch controls the moving pad (on rollers), when ON the pad rollers rotate and pull the pads around in a circle. Pad picks up water at the bottom and evaporates water at it rises, thus it is an evaporation cooler.

The on/off SWING switch controls the oscillating louvers which can be stationary or moving left and right. It directs the air flow from straight ahead to the sides.

Either can be on or off.

The Speed controls switch, which you did not mention, determines how fast the fan blades will spin.

Cooling fans are not running when car gets hot. what could be the problem. I have changed the cooling sensor and relay switch recently Yesterday the car overheated, the oil was a quart low.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
Have you tested the cooling fan itself? If not then I suggest that you pull out the fan, tap a wire one on the negative battery and other to the positive battery terminal. Tap it to the connector of the fan motor, if it doesn't run then you will need to replace the cooling fan itself. Faulty cooling fan motor can be the issue here and will surely need replacement.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have some problem with my AMANA BX20ML Model REFIGERATOR

You may have a bad condensor fan motor or paper may have gotten pulled under the fridge and jammed the fan blade. The energy switch will not help with cooling it only controls exterior moisture.

Need to know what the settings are for the range adjustment A,B,C,D slide switch on the front panel on a Amana PTH123A35AC PTAC

Here they are;

Position A, Cool 70-78, Heat 65-73
Position B, Cool 68-81, Heat 68-76
Position C, Cool 66-83, Heat 61-78
Position D, Cool 63-88, Heat 58-83

Amana calls this a Temerature Limiter and says to only set one switch on at a time. If all switches are off then the unit is at full operating range.
Please rate this answer to let me know if it was the fix.
