I have a Mitsubishi WD-62530 and the screen is now lite green color. The sky color is now lite green and the background color is real lite green.

is the problem like this. 7731a3ef-e74e-4749-85d8-fec3c051ffc0.jpgthis is a sing that the DLP chip is failing. these can be changed but I don't know the number off hand, when you take off the back in the middle there is a board with 3 plastic caps. take the wires off this board. take the caps off and there is some screws inside this is the lining up the screen part you will need to do after you have replaced the chip. take the board away. and take the casings of the board you will find a heat sink take this off as behind it hold the screw that hold the DLP chip in place when it is all removed carefully remove the chip being very careful it just prise out but has very tiny pins on the back of it. put new one in and now do in revers order replace the heat sink paste on the back of the cooling fin. when all back together you need to lockat the switch were the light is fitted it will be a push type that when the case is fitted it will push it in. make it so it stays pushed in. not turn on the tv. remember them 3 screws in the plastic. them are now going to need to be adjusted. using a flat head or something plastic. just have the screw touching in place so the board can be moved. have tv set to a tv program with reports on the bottom of the screen. you need to lift the board and move it around til the screen fits the picture. this is a long and tedious thing to do, take a few goes as you need to keep checking that it matches with other programs. I used a screen program on laptop into the tv and set it up that way but still ended up using programs to test the placement should not be green any more any way. this is a picture of the chip you will need.cbb17047-10d9-4d29-943c-ce58603c7069.jpghope this helps you out need any more info contacted me here.

Click on the link.
I can only help by telling you to check voltage and ground circuits. You check voltage by using a test lite, see the fuse in diagram, not only check the fuse, check the fuse circuit for voltage.
To check ground, you can still use the test lite, one end comes from voltage, the other end you touch to ground wire, the actual wire not the insulation, if the lite comes on, at least you know the ground is good enough to turn on the lite.
You can see voltage wire color coming from fuse. The ground wire not in the picture, black with yellow tracer.
on the hinge side of driver door is usually a wiring harness going into the driver door, probably has a protective covering, move cover back far enough to find the wire colors you want to check.
You open/shut driver door so much, sometimes those wires may break?

Picture looked 3d now tv wont come on. red lite flashes 6 times.

Your TV most likely a convergence failure. ( common problem )

Here are some of the most common symptoms and example photos of a convergence problem

  • Screen looks 3D
  • Colors don't line up
  • One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
  • Screen is bowed or warped.
  • TV shuts down
  • TV Chirps
Here are some photos of convergence problems.

0dcec37.jpg
Here is a quick test....

Using your original remote go-to the tv settings then goto the convergence section.

Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.

You should be able to move them up, down, left, and right.

If you can't move them in all directions your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

0667c5f.pngSOLUTION

You will need to replace the convergence chips and possibly some convergence resistors and pico fuses. Its a fairly easy DIY job or you can call in a pro. If you want to do the repair yourself check the site www.TvRepairKits.com. Their kits include a photo instruction guide, original OEM Sanyo STK chips, convergence resistors, pico fuses, thermal paste, email/phone support, etc.

The lenses might have moved out of line - with power off give a gentle tap to the side of lense suspected of this problem. (power off) then switch on if there are changes then you have found your problem.

I do not have a color picture

If you had a color picture before moving the TV, then you should check the inputs. Make sure all the cabling is properly and securely attached.
If this does not help, please provide more information, such as a description of the TV, indicate whether the TV had a color picture immediately before moving it, and whether you have reason to think that there is a mode for black&white.
