Question about Elna Sewing Machines

The batteries are for memory back up. If you create custom stitch combinations and save them the battery keeps the memory alive if the machine is unplugged.

Look up a manual for the Elna 9000. They are available on eBay and from sewing machine part suppliers. I used to sell Elna's, and they are the same machine. The first version (9000) had black face detail and buttons, which didn't sell well, so they just changed the facade to white with gold writing and renamed it "Diva." It is one and the same.

a operation manual will not so how to time the machine, what your
talking about is a service manual and elna does not sell them,,
only their sewing machine technicans have them, the machine
would have to be taken to a sewing machine repair shop for
timing or any other adjustments.
