Question about Canon PowerShot A430 Digital Camera
My camera had a similar problem when it was on warranty period. It started with white horizontal lines on the photos in day light. and no problems were observed on the indoor photos
I had sent back for servicing and when I got it back, it was kind of okay. and the photos had a less number of horizontal lines.
after the warranty period has been completed, the problem started increasing when taking the picture on the day light while the indoor photos looked good. now I can't take any photos on the daylight at all... and it looked like the camera is 100% useless.
I guess its the tactics of cannon company to use the gradually deterioting sensors in Cannon A430 so that the product will be useless and the user will be forced to opt for a new camera. I would recommend never to go for Cannon because of this reason. I was trying to search thier website and found nothing helpful regarding this issue.
So I am more convinced that they are knowingly creating an issue which will force the user to go for a new camera so that thier business can keep going ...
