Is ther a fuse in the tv

If the power light doesn't come on then first look for a fuse. It's very likely a fuse. If all fuses are good and power comes on you might have lost a circuit board. Check eBay for boards. Part numbers are printed on them. They just unscrew and unplug. However it could be either board.

hi ther is a overload fuse on the psu board which will blow after a surge of power but to get to it you will have to take the back off

In that case if ther is no power you better check first the power in the outlet they have.Then check the continuity of AC cord of the TV.If they are good,check the fuse,located inside at the power supply section near the AC supply voltage input.Replace same value of fuse if busted.Then try to turn on again..Try this procedure,hope will it help you..Thanks..

usually theres n0 colored fuse its only transparent glass with fussible link inside..but insome appliances they uses band-colored fuse like resistors..but thers no big deals w/ this as long as you uses same amps rate of fuse

Is your TV's indicator light ON? Did you try turning it on from the remote as well as from the TV's control panel?
If your TV's indicator light doesn't come ON, it could be that the fuse inside has blown due to the power fluctuations. If indicator is ON, your TV's internal power supply seems to be fine, you may have to take it to your technician.

did you see the standby light? if no you have problem in main power section maybe the fuse is blown you can locate the fuse at the power main board, or if the standby light is light up the problem is the inverter power supply and this section is need to diagnose to find the defective parts...

take a reading at the main power coard with a multi meater.
if reading is open ther might be a internal open fuse.

The fuse should be near where the line cord is attached to the power supply inside the TV. Be careful as there is a possibility of some DC voltage present from filter capacitors still holding a charge, long after the set is unplugged. If a fuse is blown and blackened, a new fuse will probably do the same when the set is plugged back in. Make sure you use the exact same rated fuse. IF the new fuse blows right away, do not repeat the process, it will only cause more damage. Good Luck.
