SOURCE: what exactly is a kodak camera dock?

The Kodak camera dock provides automatic battery charging and automatic connection to your computer when the camera is "docked." There is also a version of the dock that includes a printer, but I have found the printer to be poor quality and very unreliable. The dock must be connected to the computer via USB, and the Kodak EasyShare software must still be installed. The dock is a very handy accessory, but it will not solve your problem. What might help though is a visit to where you can get a free download of the latest EasyShare software that is correct for your operating system.

You don't need to use the Kodak software with your Kodak camera.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

The free program Picasa will also let you organize, catalog, and edit your photos.

Kodak c1450 camera won't upload photos to my computer

Hello, Kodak has no control over your cameras' ability to upload your photos to your PC ! Unless you are talking about their online photo storage. If you are having problems transferring your pics to your PC and are using Kodak software try to reinstall the program and see if that works, I don't think your camera is junk.
Best Regards, Russell

My camera has new batteries and I cleaned the posts and tryed to turn on. It will not come on.

If your Kodak camera is not turning on, the answer to your problem is probably the batteries. But what I am wondering is what you said, QUOTE "I CLEANED THE POSTS" END QUOTE, if you used a WET soft towel you have water damage. To reverse the effects of water damage, remove batteries and take a blow dryer and blow it down and around the camera for a good 10 mins, first 5 low setting, 2nd 5 high setting. Let it sit in RICE for a good 5 days (typical business week) if not rice in a clothes drawer for a good 5 days also. Thanks!

I use my camera to take interior and exterior photos. My exterior photos have a pink sky. What do I set my camera on to get rid of that and what setting do I use for interior photos?

Possible that the shutter/focus mode is not set to outdoor in your mode settings. try to choose auto settings and see if the fault changes. If not use the scene mode for outdoor so that the sky gives a true shade. hope you try. Good day

Kodak z612 camera now underexposes all flash photos, and overexposes all outdoor photos.

Check your settings. You probably have something set on manual control. Just set the camera's settings for automatic and you should be good to go.

Stupid camera

Either you have done something nasty to the camera when banging it or the camera is set at a higher megapixel resolution than you had it set at previously or the camera is saving photos to the internal memory, check the settings. You may have to re-format your memory card. PLease rate solution.
