SOURCE: the sum of two integers

x+y > 12
x = 6 y = 8
6+8 = 14 > 12
x = 2y-10 x = 2(8)-10 x = 6
hope this solves the problem!

I have a psp e1000 with a sandisk pro duo 4GB I bougth Piratews of the caribbean dead man's chest before the game starts its says"game requires 256KB of space to save. This memory stick only has -299840KB...

The memory-stick is too large to be recognized by the software inside the PSP. Find a 2GB or 1GB memory-stick.

The binary value '0111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111 1111'
is +(2**31)-1. Add '1' to it, and the binary value '1000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000'
is either +(2**31) or (-1)*zero, depending on whether the 32-bits are interpreted as either "unsigned-32-bit" integer or a "signed-31-bit" integer.

So, the PSP software cannot handle an integer value that does not fit into a 32-bit word.

How to double firefox speed

Firefox is in my opinion the best browser ever made until now. It includes:<br />-improved tabbed browsing<br />-pop up blocking<br />-integrated Goggle search<br />-enhanced privacy controls<br />-built-in phishing protection<br />-online spell checking<br />-lots of themes, interfaces, and extensions/addons<br /> Mozilla Firefox officially supports:<br />-Microsoft Windows<br />-Linux<br />-Mac OS X<br /> Unofficial Support:<br />-Free BSD<br />-OS/2<br />-Solaris<br />-SkyOS<br />-BeOS<br />-XP Professional x64 Edition<br /> Now here are some Tips&Tricks that can help you double the speed of Firefox.<br /> 1. Type about:config in the address bar and then press Enter.<br /> 2. In the filter search bar type network.http.pipelining. Be sure the value field is set true,if not double-click to set true.<br /> HTTP is the application-layer protocol that most web pages are transferred with. In HTTP 1.1, multiple requests can be sent before any responses are received. This is known as pipelining. Pipelining reduces page loading times, but not all servers support it.<br /> 3. Go back to the filter search bar and type network.http.pipelining.maxrequests. Double-click this option and set its value to 8.<br /> 4. In the filter search bar and type network.http.proxy.pipelining. Once opened double-click on it and set it to true.<br /> <br />5. In IPv6-capable DNS servers, an IPv4 address may be returned when an IPv6 address is requested. It is possible for Mozilla to recover from this misinformation, but a significant delay is introduced.<br />Type network.dns.disableIPv6 in the filter search bar and set this option to true by double clicking on it.<br /> 6. CONTENT INTERRUPT PARSING<br />This preference controls if the application will interrupt parsing a page to respond to UI events. It does not exist by default.<br />Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window, select New and then Boolean from the pop-up menu. Then:<br /> A. Enter content.interrupt.parsing in the New boolean value pop-up window and click OK<br /> B. When prompted to choose the value for the new boolean, select true and click OK.<br /> 7. Rather than wait until a page has completely downloaded to display it to the user, Mozilla applications will regularly render what has been received to that point. This option controls the maximum amount of time the application will be unresponsive while rendering pages.<br /> Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window, select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.<br /> A. Enter content.max.tokenizing.time in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK<br /> B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 2250000 and click OK.<br /> 8. CONTENT NOTIFY INTERVAL <br /> This option sets the minimum amount of time to wait between reflows. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window, select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.<br /> <br /> A. Type content.notify.interval in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.<br /> B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 750000 and click OK.<br /> 9. CONTENT NOTIFY ONTIMER<br /> A. This option sets if to reflow pages at an interval any higher than that specified by content.notify.interval. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New and then Boolean from the pop-up menu.<br /> B. Type content.notify.ontimer in the New boolean value pop-up window and click OK.<br /> C. You will be prompted to choose the value for the new boolean. Select true and click OK.<br /> 10. Notify Backoffcount<br />This option controls the maximum number of times the content will do timer-based reflows. After this number has been reached, the page will only reflow once it is finished downloading. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.<br /> A. Enter content.notify.backoffcount in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.<br /> B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 5 and click OK.<br /> 11. CONTENT SWITCH THRESHOLD<br />You can interact with a loading page when content.interrupt.parsing is set to true. When a page is loading, the application has two modes: a high frequency interrupt mode and a low frequency interrupt mode. The first one interrupts the parser more frequently to allow for greater UI responsiveness during page load.<br /> The low frequency interrupt mode interrupts the parser less frequently to allow for quicker page load. The application enters high frequency interrupt mode when you move the mouse or type on the keyboard and switch back to low frequency mode when you had no activity for a certain amount of time. This preference controls that amount of time. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.<br /> A. Enter content.switch.threshold in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.<br /> B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 750000 and click OK.<br /> <br />12. NGLAYOUT INITIALPAINT DELAY<br />Mozilla applications render web pages incrementally, they display what's been received of a page before the entire page has been downloaded. Since the start of a web page normally doesn't have much useful information to display, Mozilla applications will wait a short interval before first rendering a page. This preference controls that interval. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.<br /> A. Enter nglayout.initialpaint.delay in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.<br /> B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 0 and click OK.<br /> <br />

Tweak Your Firefox for Super Fast Web Browsing

Try these easy Firefox tweaks and you’ll see that you’re surfing the Internet from 3 to 30 times faster!

* To get started, open your Firefox web browser. In the address/location bar type about:config and then press your Enter key.

* In the Filter bar type network.http.pipelining. Then, double-click on this line under Preference Name in order to change the value from False to True.

* In the Filter bar type network.http.pipelining.maxrequests. Then, double-click on this line under Preference Name and change the value from 4 to a higher number anywhere from 10 to 30. I set mine to 30.

* In the Filter bar type network.http.proxy.pipelining. Then, double-click on this line under Preference Name in order to change the value from False to True.

* In the Filter bar type network.dns.disableIPv6. Then, double-click on this line under Preference Name in order to change the value from False to True.

* In the Filter bar type plugin.expose_full_path. Then, double-click on this line under Preference Name in order to change the value from False to True.

* In the Filter bar type network.protocol-handler.external.ms-help. Now, you are going to create a new Preference Name with an Integer Value. To do this, right-click on this line under Preference Name and select New, then Integer. In the New Integer value box type in nglayout.initialpaint.delay and click OK. Then in the Enter Integer value box type 0 (that’s a zero) and click OK.

* In the Filter bar again type network.protocol-handler.external.ms-help. Now, you are going to create another new Preference Name with an Integer Value. To do this, right-click on this line under Preference Name and select New, then Integer. In the New Integer value box type in content.notify.backoffcount and click OK. Then in the Enter Integer value box type 5 and click OK.

* In the Filter bar again type network.protocol-handler.external.ms-help. Now, you are going to create another new Preference Name with an Integer Value. To do this, right-click on this line under Preference Name and select New, then Integer. In the New Integer value box type in ui.submenuDelay and click OK. Then in the Enter Integer value box type 0 (that’s a zero) and click OK.

Now, close your web browser and restart it. You’ll see how much faster web pages are loading. I sure

I declared a variable, but when I try to compile it it says my variable might not have been initialized. What could I be doing wrong?

You need to assign a default value to your variable, otherwise it's just declared and not initialized.
Example (in C#):
int numericValue; Here the variable numericValue has been declared as an integer
int numericValue = 11; and here the variable has been declared and initialized as an integer with the value 11.

NCr + nCr-1 = n+1Cr prove it?

The identity (n+1)Cr=nCr+nC(r-1), valid if n>=1 and 1=0. These facts embody the construction of Pascal's triangle and let you prove by induction (on n) that nCr is always an integer since it's either 1 or it's the sum of two integers.

You can also think of the combinatorial definition of nCr, the number of r-subsets of an n-set. This is definitely an integer. Of course then you'd have to prove that the factorial expression for nCr is correct...

The nCr are binomial coefficients with the property that n+1Cr = nCr-1 + nCr (think of Pascal's Triangle) with nCn = 1 = nC0. Since 0C0 = 1 it follows that all nCr are integers

Is it possible to to convert charrcter datatype into integer datatype

If you want to get the ASCII value of a character, or just convert it into an int (say for writing to an OutputStream), you need to cast from a char to an int.

What's casting? Casting is when we explicitly convert from one primitve data type, or a class, to another. Here's a brief example.
public class char_to_int { public static void main(String args[]) { char myChar = 'a'; int i = (int) myChar; // cast from a char to an int System.out.println ("ASCII value - " + i); } }

In this example, we have a character ('a'), and we cast it to an integer. Printing this integer out will give us the ASCII value of 'a'.

I am entering binompdf (3,.25,.75) I then get a domain error. please help

Hello,
Since this is a discrete distribution, you can only calculate it at integer values of the variable. Hence the last argument in the function (0.75) must be an integer. As you gave a decimal number where an integer is required, the calculator returns a domain error.
Hope it helps.

[Stat] - Data numbers (frequency) < 1 (not integer) on TI 85 Calc

Frequencies are always integers. They indicate how many times that particular data value came up. The data values may be non-integers.

As an example, let's say you're measuring the weights of widgets. You may have 3 widgets weighing 1.1 kg, 5 widgets weighing 1.2 kg, and 2 widgets weighing 1.3 kg.

Note that the data are non-integers (1.1, 1.2, 1.3) but the frequencies are integers (3, 5, 2).

1. Start
2. Take two variables i and j.
3. Take a constent VALUE=6.
4. Put i=1,j=1.
5. If i is less than VALUE goto 6 else goto 7
6. j=j*i and goto step 5
7. Print j value.
8. Stop.
/* Program to find factorial of 6 */

#include <stdio.h>

#define VALUE 6
