2006 trailblazer washer wiper nozzle removal replacement

the nozzles just snap in from the top.... you first pop the cover at the pivot point of the wiper arm to access the nut. remove said nut. remove the wiper arms (a puller is very useful to avoid damage) , then Remove the air inlet grille panel (held in with pushpins and small 1/4in or 9/32in bolts. disconnect the hoses and squeeze the two tabs that hold them in. because they snap in from the top, i have seen people crush and brake their old nozzles with needle nose pliers. pull the hose through the hole and attach it to the new nozzle...... NOT the recommended procedure, rent or buy a puller that looks like a small two jaw gear puller to save yourself a big headache (mine was only $45). good luck

Hi! We made the nozzle assembly easily removable for the Max Extract Dual V. Follow these quick steps.

Remove both tanks from the cleaner.

Lay the cleaner on its back while in the upright position.

Lift up rear edge of nozzle. Slide nozzle up and remove from cleaner.

I have also attached a copy of the owner's manual which has pictures if you need it. http://hoover.com/file/1088/

I cant figure out how to repair my turbo nozzle how do you take apart the nozzle.

Most commonly, debris gets plugged internally in the nozzle holes. Using a small pick from the outside, with the nozzle removed from the wand (it is threaded on), you can try to dislodge debris caught in the nozzle holes.

How can I remove the (hood mounted )windscreen washer nozzle?

  1. Open the hood of the vehicle for clipped nozzles or nozzles with retaining screws that are attached to the hood. Locate the nozzles and hoses attached to the hood. Some vehicles may require removing an insulated panel that is retained by plastic clips. Pry the clips out and remove the panel (if applicable).
  2. Note the way the nozzle is attached to the underside of the hood. Clip-on nozzles will either be attached by a single clip on one side of the nozzle and a retaining anchor on the other end. Other clip-on nozzles may have two retaining clips that need to be squeezed together (with needle-nose pliers, if necessary). Press the clip or clips inward towards the nozzle and it will pop out of the hole in the hood. If the nozzle is retained by screws, simply unscrew them with the screwdriver. If there are hose clips holding the hose to the hood, unfasten the clips (by hand) to allow more movement in the hose-to-clip assembly.

I am having trouble getting my 50,000 btu torpedo heater started.

your nozzle is plugged.to clean the nozzle you take the cover off, slide the motor out of it's slots and push it to the rear of the unit, remove the air line and fuel line, remove the three 3 screws holding the nozzle assy. on.once you have the nozzle assy. out you will see a brass nozzle on the inside, put nozzle assy. in vise to hole it.take 5/8" socket and remove the nozzle from holder.take the nozzle holder out of vise and put brass nozzle in vise.do not put a lot of pressure on it or you'll bend it.by the way pointy end down so you can take the nozzle apart.once you have the nozzle in vise, take a pair of plyers and carefully remove the inside of nozzle,it doesn't take a lot of pressure to turn the inside.just loosen it don't take it apart yet....remove it from vise and turn it uside down so pointy end is now facing up.rotate it over the work bench so you don't drop the piece that's inside.very tiny piece..... that the nozzle,it rotates inside to make the spray pattern.look through it and see if you can see light throught it.take an air nozzle and carefully blow through it....both ways.look again and see if it's clear.once it is replace everything in reverse order.do not put much pressure on the inside piece of nozzle when you tighten back in with the plyers.hope this helps........let me know

How to clean

I have found this so i think this answers my question.

Question         How do I remove the clear floor nozzle window on my machine?     shim.gif     Answer         Before starting, please be sure the machine is not plugged in and the machine handle is reclined.

To remove the clear floor nozzle, first detach the phillips head screws located at the base of the clear floor nozzle. Then, remove the tank in tank assembly. Next, remove the rectangular gasket at the top of the nozzle, and pull the clear floor nozzle forward to remove the tabs from the notches. This clear floor nozzle is removable so you may be able to access this area and clean.

When putting the clear floor nozzle back in place, please be sure the tabs at the TOP of the nozzle are properly inserted into the notches provided. If you do not have the tabs in place properly, you may have a problem with the machine's suction.

Rotate the window down into place, replace the screws, and replace the rectangular gasket.

If you would like additional assistance, please contact BISSELL Consumer Services at 1-800-237-7691, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., or Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., ET or email us by clicking on the Email BISSELL tab at the top of this page.

Reminder: When you have completed the deep cleaning process, it is recommended to return the SmartMix dial to "Water Only" prior to storing the machine.     shim.gif     How well did this
