Looks like you need to replace the batteries in the keypad.
Remove and discard the screw (if equipped) at the base of the lock case. 2. Turn the electronic lock case to the right (clockwise), from 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock, and remove. Insert 4 new AA batteries (not included) to powerthis lock. Replace the electronic lock case and turn to theleft (to 12 o'clock) to reassemble.
You have to watch that the buttons don't fall out of place when you open it. So use a strip of masking tape to hold them in place before you open the case.
To open the tablet it snaps in all around. You need to insert a small screw driver between the case edge and another small screwdriver to keep prying all the way around. You can hear it when it snaps open. You may need the point of a small sharp knife first. I have opened and closed mine to get the battery number. I will be replacing mine as well. You need to solder the new battery in.
If you're intent on buying her a new battery, you'll need to be able to open it. However, the batteries are sold by Nintendo, so contact them, and they'll get you the right one.
However! Unless you charge the system for four hours and it lasts 30 minutes or so, you do not need a new battery. If this is the case, contact Nintendo for troubleshooting to determine the actual cause of your problem.

Carefully peel up the UPC code strip on back of player. (There is a tiny screw underneath it) Carefully remove screw. (The snap notches are 'L' shaped inside the edges of the case). Gently slide/pry open the backside of the case, taking care NOT to break the snap notches. Open case, REMOVE BATTERY. FIND/MATCH BATTERY TYPE. (look in WATCH batteries). Place the new battery in player. Close case, restart/turn on player.
This scooter requires (2) 12 volt 15 Ah batteries. Typically you would open the case and replace the two batteries inside not the entire case and batteries.
Locate the screws that hold the case together and open it. Make a diagram of the how the batteries are connected. Obtain the new batteries locally or on-line, install and fully charge.

The remote does have a battery. It either has a small door that slides open or you remove a screw to separate the two halves of the case. The battery is inside.
If you open the battery case and then open the lithium battery case (with a screw driver), there is a "reset" hole inside the lithium battery case area. Use a small screwdriver or something that will reach inside the reset hole and press. Good luck!
