You will find out if you want to make biscuits and you need to use self-rising flour just by making the biscuits. If they rise it will be self-rising flour. That would be a good way to figure it our. Good Luck!

How can plain cream flour be made into self raising flour?


If, by cream flour you mean all-purpose flour, I found this on recipe.com:
combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

To make self raising flour


Ingredients

Original recipe makes 1 cup
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Directions

  1. Stir or sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Presto, you've got self-rising flour!
