Re: Panasonic CT-36D30

Buy a can of freezing spray at electronics store, take back off t.v. turn on. wait for it to warm up and problem shows up, spray top and bottom of boards until problem dissapears. this will show the bad solder join or the bad component. DO NOT TOUCH ANY THING TO GET A SHOCK....

Intermittent shut off

20 years is too long and the components ternmial might be loose or crack at this time, I'll susgest you look for any dry cold solder on the main board and do resoldering to the components terminal.

Panasonic CT-32G6E Intermittent single horizontal line

I would suggest to locate a part that looks like the one on this link and re solder all the pins, also check for any high power resistor nearby the IC295890 and put some fresh solder.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Main fuse blown on CT-32G11 32" Panasonic TV, Replacement fuses continue to blow.

If the main fuse keeps blowing, check the horizontal output transistor for a shorted condition and diodes in that section as well.

My Panasonic TV

Many TVs, including some Panasonic models, have an Auto-OFF feature that will automatically turn the set off after a few minutes, if the TV thinks it is not receiving a video signal. By reinserting the coaxial cable, you are probably restarting the Auto-OFF timer inside the TV. There are several possible things that could cause the Auto-OFF to falsely activate. Try and change the coax cable going from the VCR to the TV, if you have a spare. If not, plug the cable from the cable box directly into the back of the TV. Make sure the TV is on the correct channel, usually Ch 3 or Ch 4. (Do not use the original cable that was running from the VCR to the TV, just in case it is intermittent.)

Screen adjustment

Something is going bad in the horizontal deflection circuit, you should not have to adjust at all,if this part fails (possibly a capacitor)all the way is goin to take the output transistor and a fuse ,I suggest you call for assistance now before it gets worst. As for the remote you can find it in,just put the model number of the tv and the word remote and all the information you need will show up.If you are familiar with tv service you want to take a look for overheated components close to the flyback but if you are not too familiar be safe and ask for help.

Picture tube doesn't turn off

The power relay driver or the relay itself is bad. Its sticking closed so the voltage is there for the power supply but the micro has turned off the tuner.
