    How is fire extinguisher used

Pull the safety catch, aim at the bottom of the fire (not the top of the flame), and compress the trigger.

What is the difference between osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis?

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a condition that affects the whole joint including bone, cartilage, ligaments and muscles.

    Osteoarthritis may include:

    • inflammation of the tissue around a joint

    • damage to joint cartilage - this is the protective cushion on the ends of your bones which allows a joint to move smoothly

    • bony spurs growing around the edge of a joint

    • deterioration of ligaments (the tough bands that hold your joint together) and tendons (cords that attach muscles to bones).

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease that causes pain and swelling of the joints. The normal role of your body\'s immune system is to fight off infections to keep you healthy. In an autoimmune disease, your immune system starts attacking your own healthy tissues. In RA, the immune system targets the lining of the joints, causing inflammation and joint damage. RA usually affects smaller joints, such as the joints in the hands and feet. However larger joints such as the hips and knees can also be affected.

    Ulcerative colitis

Inflamed colon is also referred to as inflammatory bowel disease, colitis, or ulcerative colitis. While there is no set cause for an inflamed colon, the University of Maryland Medical Center states that it can be a result of a faulty immune system response, genetics or environmental factors. When any of these situations are involved, the immune system reacts by causing inflammation in the body, affecting the colon. There is no cure for an inflamed colon, and treatment involves finding a way to ease the symptoms.

Hi there. I have just moved in to a flat & have been asked if my stoves 050531075 gas oven is fitted with something called a FSD (Fire Suppresion Device) Would you be able to tell me please?

The are probably referring to an automatic fire extinguisher system, but from what I just read, the UK only requires a manual fire extinguisher to meet code.

The FSD would be fire extinguishers mounted on the wall instead of portable. They are only required in commercial restruarants.

Something like this Id have someone who knows there way around electronics, a qualified tech or someone you trust really well :-) Does the crackling affect the TV picture at all ? My first guess would be dust and or dampness on the audio components. Sometimes this can conduct electricity across small pc chips and reak all sorts of havoc. I had an old Tomas electric organ once, and it actually caught fire because two speaker wires were rubbing together and eventually wore thru the insulation and shorted out, but it was also making alot of crackling and static noises. Try raising and lowering the volume low to high and high to low and see if the crackling noises gets worse. Some audio amplifiers put out quite a bit of power, so I wouldnt trust leaving the TV on without a fire extinguisher handy.
