Question about Belkin (F5D7230-4) Router (587009)
I have a Belkin wireless G cable router, which my daughter's Vista laptop and iPod connect to wirelessly no problem. My own (fully patched) XP laptop has a MicroNet/Realtek 8187B USB wireless dongle. This dongle can ''see'' both my neighbour's wireless networks, but not my Belkin. I have also connected a BT Home Hub to my network via a crossover cable to provide a second wireless access point. The laptop+USB dongle will ''see'' and connect via that OK. Any ideas as to why the MicroNet/Realtek will not ''see'' the Belkin router?
I got the answers (for free) from Belkin's excellent technical support.
