Question about Panasonic PT-56LCZ70 56" HDTV
Turn on the set no picture no sound green power lights up but blinks then it turns into a red blinking light I felt behind where the fan housing is I could feel movment Ultimately I removed the case and fan unit cleaned it and put it back together fan is moving air a little better but not enought to really make a difference...

That chirp is your ballast trying to fire the lamp. Sounds to me like you need a new lamp. The model should be TY-LA1000. Keep in mind though that the ballast could also be faulty, but 85% of the time it's a lamp. Pull the cover off the unit and remove the lamp. More often than not, when the lamp goes it'll actually break and be obvious.

STOP THE PRESS!! I FIXED MY TV for a whopping $26.
I took a wild shot and purchased two STK392-110 convergence amplifiers from http://www.electronix.com/. They ship fast, placed my order on Tuesday evening after coming here and placing my comment. To my suprise the parts were in my mailbox on Friday. The parts were actually $12 but I also picked up a iron and a solder sucker.
So rarewish4us, If you're in the South Florida area I'd be more than happy to take that "JUNK" off your hands. LOL
If I were you, I'd give it a shot before you junk it.

There is an additional problem,
if the bulb had been replaced by a technician, call them back and ask for additional support, since they did not fix the problem.
