Question about Alcatel Cell Phones
I have a basic alcatel gophone from at&t with software version 987YF70. I must have pocket dialed "reset factory settings" or something related because everything on my phone is deleted. I have read that there are ways to get some of this data back, such as pictures and contacts and messages. Any suggestions? Remember, this is not a smartphone. Just a very basic phone.
Once deleted it is gone
You can possibly take it to a specialised shop that does that kind of recovery

SOURCE: Samsung SCH-U740 Master Reset
Let me elaborate. On your phone press the:
1. Menu--scroll to Tools & Settings---press OK
2. Look for Security, press OK
3. Enter the last 4 digits of your phone #, or whatever you set the lock code to.
4. There should be an option to delete contacts. Becareful not to press the Reset Default option, for it will erase everything (ringtones, pix, filx, screensavers, etc..)
**If the Security option is not seen in the Tools and Settings, then choose Call Settings or Phone Settings. It should be in one of these.

SOURCE: delete everything?
You can erase all contacts. Do you know if he had a security code? You will need it. If not it is either "0000" or the last for digits of the phone number. 1. Select menu -> Settings->Security 2. Enter your 4 digit code 3. Select ERASE CONTACTS 4. Select yes to all contacts. It will ask you to confirm 5. Press your left soft key with the dot in the middle. Here's link to the manual. http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/strobe-phone/pdf/strobe-user-guide-english.pdf You'll find the instructions for all the other ones you want to erase.

SOURCE: Nokia n95 Phone memory full
For months I've been searching on the Internet looking for a solution to my problem for my Nokia N95
It kept on saying that my phone memory was low and every time i deleted stuff (Including apps) the memory kept on eating away at its self with none of the memory that was there nowehere to be seen.
Save all your contacts and stuff you cherish on ur phone memory before u do this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried the factory reset ( *#7370# ) and the software reset ( *#7780# ) entered the code "12345" after each one and they both reset.... entered my country, date, time etc.... but it never sorted out my memory problems
Another reset is the 3 button reset... this worked on my phone and thank F**k it has :-)
what you do is switch off your n95 turn it back on but keep ur fingers pressed on the:
The star button ( * )
The number three button ( 3 )
And the Green button ( one you start to make phone call with )
did the same with the country date time and brill 140 Mb's free memory yee haaaaaaaaa

SOURCE: Nokia N81 Phone memory problems.
To start, please note 34KB isn't much space at all. That phone has a minimum of 12 megabytes and a maximum of 8 gigabtyes depending on when you got your phone.
But just for size comparison, 34 kilobytes = 0.033203125 megabytes so you have plenty of space, those kilobytes mean nothing.
I don't personally own a Nokia phone, but from what I hear, all of their phones have software on them called Lifeblog, it stores all of your photos taken, and all of the calls you have made on your phone and arranges them in a time line, this ends up taking up a lot of space and is a cause for many of the memory related problems.
Backup anything you want to keep with Nokia PC Suite
Reset your phone to factory default by either typing *#7370#
Holding down 3 * green whilst switching it on.
Be wary when restoring any backup you have, being this will restore anything that your Lifeblog contains, reverting the problem.
And a final solution
Download "Y" browser here
Install it on your phone via your Nokia PC Suite.
Launch the YBrowser application (probably from new folder called DrJukka.com):
Locate the C: drive and open it:
Locate the Data folder:
Locate the Lifeblog folder:
Select Options, File and then Delete
Once the folder is deleted launch Lifeblog and select Update Timeline.
Hope one if not all of these helped =)

I use SE W960i adn usually face these problem and I have over a period of time learnt these:
1) Try deleting any of the old version of backup that you may have from the backup manager (if you still need the old one then import them to your PC)
2) another usually reason may be that you are trying to restore a lot of stuff at once so may be try restore only setting, multimedia, contacts, at first and the rest later.
These things worked for me, hope it does for you also,
