Ask you daughter for the code is the simplist way if you cannot prise it out of her a little bribery may help if not then you will have to take it to a mobile phone shop to get it wipe which will lose all the data and any messages/photos stored on the phone

Wayne, if you have forgotten the security code then the only way is to get the firmware reinstalled. That is the problem with these codes. You end up deleting all the dat that you were wanting to protect.

While, if you want to remove the code then go to Tools->Phone->Security. And then select the option on phone lock. And remove the code from there.

You may try default phone and security code to remove restrictions.
ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000


Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.

Go to Settings
-> Phone Settings
-> Security Settings
-> Reset settings
-> if there is any security code enter it otherwise default is 0000

Make sure backup all data before re setting your setting

if the contacts are on the sim then remove the sim and put it in a new phone, put a new chip in the b2100 and search for the factory code in the phone's manual go to security search for factory setting and enter the factory code the phone will restart then put back the old sim.
