Question about Technics SL-PG480A CD Player
There is a problem between the power circuit board and the cdplayer board[located under the optical pickup system]. Check the connectore between them

Im pretty sure this is to do withthe laser, try using a cleaning cd, put your head next to the player and listen to if the actual disc is moving inside.
this might evan be a problem with the cd motor.
