The WIA driver for the hp scanner 5610 is missing

SOURCE: scanner hp 5610 not working

Scanners come with scanning software. This software must be installed for the scanner to work. I would install the scanning software, and try scanning again.

You have to download the driver from the HP website only. Click here to go to the download page.
Select & open the drivers tab and select the last/3rd download link. This download will provide you the software & driver

Click here to download Drivers & Software for HP Officejet 5610 from HP Official Support Site.
Select the Operating System (e.g. Windows XP), Click 'Drivers - Product Installation Software' and download 'HP Officejet and PSC Full Feature Software and Drivers' and intall the drivers/ Software.
