The ball or tension rods could be jammed. not something i would recommend you try at home. This requires some specialized tools. Send it to these guys for repair: http://www.manfrottotripodparts.com/repairs.html
reasonable prices too.

SOURCE: FH101 head jerky panning movement

Not knowing where you reside, I don't know if a certain product is available to you but there are several different brands and some generics in the US. The original oil additive was called STP, there was a competing brand called Motor Honey (shudder) and in many auto supply houses you can find a generic sold for 'high mileage engines.' It is a refined petroleum product with a very high viscosity and is sticky in nature. If you can access the surfaces causing the problem, a dot ot two on either will probably help with the jerkiness you are having. I have used the stuff for similar gliding surfaces and the only disadvantage is the tendency to 'creep' so keeping the applied quantity low is a must.

How to remove stock pan head on velbon el carmagne 530 so I can replace it with a ball head?

I presume this is a tripod, although you have not stated. On good quality tripods, the head attached to the centre column with a screw thread, either 1/4" or 3/8". Grasp the centre column firmly, and rotate the existing head anti-clockwise, first checking to ensure there are no grub screws restricting its movement. When you have removed it, attach the replacement.

How should fluid heads be stored?

Alisa: With all 'video tripod heads'...., regardless if the are the original 'true' fluid heads (that actually used a liquid (oil) to achieve 'fluid' type movements) or a modern professional 'fluid' head (that actually uses a clutch mechanism like a cars transmission) or a fluid effect head like the Manfrotto #501HDV (which used nylon discs sandwiching a ball bearing race)...., always store with the pan and tilt mechanisms unlocked!!!! This means the camera platform should be positioned in the 'rest' position (not tilted forward or backwards), also ensure that any counterbalance mechanism is released so as to eliminate strain on the internal mechanisms!!!!
If you remember to do this and don't overload the head..., you will extend the life of your gear significantly

How do I perform the diagonal crunch exercise correctly?

Grab a medicine ball and lie on the floor with your legs straight and spread wide. Roll onto your right hip and hold the ball with your arms straight. Then, raise your arms and torso and then touch the ball to the floor between your legs. Lower your body and roll onto your left and hold the ball at 2 o'clock above your head before you repeat the movement.

How should I perform the Woodchopper exercise correctly?

You should stand with your feet just beyond shoulder-width apart. With your arms nearly straight, hold a medicine ball above your head. Now bend forward at your waist and mimic throwing the ball backward between your legs keeping hold of the ball the entire movement. Quickly reverse the movement with the same intensity, and return to the starting position.

My Cursor pointer is frozen. The arrow is frozen but if I move the mouse and it blindly finds a tab and I click it that works but no movement of the arrow until I reboot

Does it happen on a specific application or all over your screen? Are you using a special mouse/tracking ball/pointing device? Is this a laptop or a desktop? if you use a USB "simple" mouse does it work. Seems to me like a driver problem.

Does your mouse use a ball for movement?
Look at bottom of mouse. If so you could have a ditty unit. You can turn the ball cover counter clockwise and remove the ball. Clean the ball and the rollers inside the mouse. Replace the mouse ball and cover and retry the mouse.
