Question about Panasonic Heating & Cooling
If it is not allowing the a/c to turn on I would check the infrared eye to make sure it is clear. Then make sure there is power to the unit. 24v and 120v. There may be a fuse on the 24v side, usually 2-5amp looks like a car fuse but may be a small glass fuse. Make sure there is power through it. If there are there and it is still not working sorry to say but your board is shot and will need to be replaced.

some of the samsung units need to be reset if you have a new remote..contact your nearest agent for that aircon they will give you a code to type in using the remote control.if this does not work you might have to replace the internal pc board.good luck

If the light indicator of your unit have light with power "on", then there is a problem with the unit. May the fuse of your pcb is open or the pcb itself has a problem. You have to call a qualified technician to check.
Reset the rest button of your remote control, but if it wont work may the remote itself has a problem or the receiver board.

take your cellphone and turn on the camera, then put the remote in front of the cell and push any button.if you see the light of the remote to the cell then the remote is ok and the problem is to the eye of the plate.its a small plate in front of the split
