The touchscreen cable may have come loose or perhaps the touchscreen has failed. take the machine to an authorized Viking repair dealer to have them troubleshoot it.

Hi,Try this,switch off machine,press in reverse and pivot button together,switch on,release buttons and press up/down needle button,this brings up calibration screen.With a plastic stylus or something similar(not metal) touch in centre of each cross,they should turn green.Switch off and on again. This will calabate machine the screen.
