Question about Epson LX-300+ II Matrix Printer
I want to print an 8.5 x 2.38 paper in epson lx-300 II but there's no option to set-up a custom size. somebody mentioned about IBM ProPrinter II driver or something like that but i cannot find the file anywhere. anyone have it? I desperately need to print this page... thanks
I have some problem, but now have solved
1. replace your original epson lx-300+II driver by IBM ProPrinter II from windows installation driver.
2. in control panel-->printer and fax-->choose IBM Proprinter II ---> click File-->server properties--> click form tab--> chek create new and fill new paper size and don't forget give a name (ex. 8.5x6)--> save form
3.In printer and faxs right click IBM Proprinter II-->choose properties--> click device setting tab --> change tractor feed, manual paper feed and upper paper tray feed to new name (8.5x6)
4. Good luck

Any Printer you can use Goto server properties, as above mentioned set the papersize put it as default for your printer in windows Printers settings and dont set any size measurement in your VB code. any attempt made to change the papersize or scalesize in coding vb change it as default. So rely on windows printers setting what you need. the vb take it from windows dont bother about any codings

Why not giving continously print (epson lx 300+)

Normally this is done by using printer command codes.
Are you trying to do this through a custom application or an application like Word?
What datastream emulations does your printer support. For example ASCII, Extended ASCII, PCL or Postscript.
It's pretty straight forward programming, do you need help with it?

I have similar issue, either configuring the printer (epson lx-300) with windows drivers or ibm generic, the margins doesn't work properly.
I followed what fikrifaza said, and the printer works but even if i change the margins (from control panel-->printer and fax-->choose IBM Proprinter II ---> click File-->server properties--> click form tab--> ...) like zero or whatever, it doesn't work. The margins stays always the same.
