Question about Samsung Refrigerators

Open Question

My samsung RL28FBSI power button is stuck.

I accidentally pushed the button and the fridge shut down. It wont start again. I changed the power option yesterday, today i tried to turn it back by using the power button. Yeah, i should have read the manual before, but now i have a shut down fridge.. Is it common and temporary or is it dead for good?

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Be sure the batteries are not the rechargeable types.  I had this problem when I first got my camera about 4 years ago.  Also, try adjusting the quality settings for the functions.  For example, set the photo function at normal rather than fine.

SOURCE: keeps turning off

Hey! i had the same problem after i took the computer apart for a clean!!! What happened is that when i took the heatsink off the cpu, the thermal paste had fallen apart a little and i put it back on.... to find computer booting up for about 3 seconds then turning off. i think that when you fire the comp up it turns on the cpu causing it to overheat and shut itself off, just cleaned off old paste and put on some new paste and it fired up! hope this helps you! sorry bout the slight delay!

My Samsung CoolTech Model SR-L709EVSS fridge and freezer works for a few days and then goes off by its self and then works again. What could the problem be?

Only time these units completely shut down is when the defrost timer shuts down all power to the compressor and condenser/evaporator motors. Only the bulb works.
If that timer gets stuck somehow that would explain the complete shutdown and mysterious restart later .

hey, I had the same problem when I accidentally droped my camera, some parts in the mechanism are probably broken or jammed.

Most likely repairs required.

Can't turn off recording option to play my music

Try pressing and holding down the 'menu' button. It might shut off, but that's okay. Just turn your player on again.

Otherwise, take the back off of the player and slip the battery out. That will definitely shut it off. It's called a 'hard reset'.

Hope you get it working again!

My laptop won't shut down properly!

Is it possible that you have changed the settings of what buttons do what on your system? E.g. you could have changed the power button to "switch user" instead of "shut down", to check this (in XP) go to "Power Options" (in Control Panel" and then click on the "Advanced tab" at the top, then select "Shut down" from the drop down menu at the bottom of the window.

If this is already set to shut down then maybe you could do a system restore in case another setting has been changed, restore it to before the PC started doing this.

Alternatively try actually choosing "Turn off Computer" from the Log On screen (press Ctrl + L to get to this screen, or choose switch user/log off). If you are using Vista I beleive that there is a shut-down option from the Log In Page there (which again you can access by pressing Ctrl + L on the keyboard.

Hope this helps!
