Question about Washing Machines
When the door closes, it latches to a micro switch, remove the panel at the top of unit usually only 2 to 4 screws. make sure you unplug the unit, look from the top were the latch lock is located, see if the micro switch is out of place, it has a small button on the switch that gets pushed when you close the door, you may be avail to move , adjust or bent the mechanism to make it work, if not , 2 thing you can do, replace it, it is only 2 screws or by pass the switch, no recommended. but it works. to by pass the switch, connect both terminal wires toghether and tape them for safety or short. unit works, that is your problem. good luck.
