First off, how do you know it is a He or She?
Sounds like you have dirt caught up on the brush ends. Open the shield on the bottom, pull open the brush and clean out the debris collected on the rollers. Check that the pulleys are free of dirt and replace loose or spongy bands.

Try using a carburetor cleaner instead, as it has some lubricants in it's makeup that can actually help the moving parts.

If you mean the motor speeds up then slows down, it sounds like the airflow is being interrupted. (Blocked airflow will put the motor/fan into a partial vacuum and cause the motor to speed up).

I would check to see if the filter needs cleaning or more likely, the hose is getting pinched shut when you use the vacuum.

1986 Ford Bronco, 302 EFI. Surges in idle. Speeds up then slows down.

Probably a loose or missing vacuum hose. Check the vacuum diagram under the hood and look for loose or cracked hoses.

Eureka powerline umc-18 vacuum quit working

The Motor has locked up due to over heating. Once that happens the only way to go is either replace the motor drive or get a new cleaner. Do not try and keep energizing the Vacuum as you could blow circuit-breakers or start an electrical fire.

Dyson cylinder i was sucking a vacuum space saver bag and my vacuum just stopped

Hi Philip,

Your DC11 is equipped with a safety device which shuts the cleaner down if it starts to overheat. It's likely that this is what occurred, as there may not have been enough airflow through the cleaner to keep the motor cool. If you unplug the cleaner and leave it to cool down for at least an hour, you should find it will work again.

If the cleaner still won't run after this time, get in touch with us directly so we can provide further assistance - you can call us free on 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US).

Kind regards,

Jack

Working on 03 Grand Am 3.4 you need to give it a shot of carb cleaner to start after it starts runs great until it cools down again than you have to re shoot it with carb cleaner note will restart...

The fuel pressure regulator is bleeding down fuel pressure into the vacuum line attached to it. Leave the vacuum line off as the vehicle cools and you will see it leak out.

Hayward pool vacuum cleaner problem

With this vacuum, start from the simplest possible problem and then work your way through. Process of elimination. Flip it over and see if the feet are all the in good shape. Also look to be sure that the springs that are below each of the feet are actually connected. Where they connect, the tabs break off and then the spring doesn't snap and that side of the vacuum will drag or go in a circle or not move at all. If that look s okay, you need to check the bearings to be sure they're okay. If one side goes you'll experience the same problems you've described. If they are tight, no bearings falling out then check the pods. That's the long sections where the feet and wings attach to the vacuum. As a general rule if you replace the pods, you should replace the Aframe as well. Not difficult and the parts will run $110-$125 for an entire bottom kit which includes everything that has been described above.

Miele vacuum cleaner not working properly

Is the suction low or ok at the vacuum without the hose attached? If it is ok, then there is a clog in the hose. If it isn't, then check filters, is the speed variable, is the contol set too low. Could be a bad motor, running too slow.
