How can i turn down my talk back its too loud

If it was an aftermarket install there may not have been a volume control put on it. Some times not even an on-off switch. To ad a volume control locate the jumper between the External and PA speaker. You can get a volume control at Radio Shack. Locate an area inside the rear panel that will allow the installing of the volume control. Cut the jumper wire and slide shrink tube on wires. Solder a length of wire on each end and solder the other ends to the volume control. You can use bell wire for this purpose or get wire at Radio Shack.

I could not set the jumper ID as 3 in Seagate 73 GB model of Hard drive. It has 12 pins at the back of Hard drive.

You need a jumper on ID pin sets 1 and 2 (as if you were setting it for both ID 1 and ID 2)
These pin sets work like binary, so set 1 for ID1, set 2 for ID 2, and sets 1 & 2 for ID 3. In this mannar, with just the 4 sets of pins, you can have IDs from 0 to 15 (no jumpers to all 4 jumpered..1+2+4+8=15)

* * * *
1234 set number
1248 binary ID (additive)

If you need further explanation, please post a reply here.

Tv's volume won't stay at set level, volume goes up stays for a few minutes and then goes down to zero.

This particular model at the time of assembly had jumper cables that were tight fitting. You may have to take this TV to a repair shop. There they will have to loosen the jumper cables by peeling back the insulation that shields the internal wiring. Or have them install longer jumper cables. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support.

What is error code 043 on NORITZ tankless heater?

There is no error 43 on a NR71. There is a 73 error code which is caused by disconnecting jumper cables while the power is on.

Denon dra-95vr receiver has no sound out. All

Two things to check. First, the 95VR can be deceiving because it has a "variable loudness" control that some may mistake for volume. The actual volume is controlled by the big up and down arrows on the upper right side. If the volume is turned up, you should see the volume bar graph display show up. If none of the inputs are giving you volume, and the volume is turned up, then try running the output from the processor loop output in the back to another amplifier. The processor out is jumpered to the processor in for normal operation. Missing jumpers could cause a problem also. If there is sound coming to the processor out, then you have a problem with the power amplifiers. Best to refer that to a technician.

My Mackie SRM450 appears to have a faulty volume pot. I have to tweek it in both directions several times and then it may come on but it's not reliable. I can relace the part myself but am unable to...

Inside the amp, on the back side of the circuit board is a tony Black Plastic "Jumper" with a "pull tab" on it.
If the pins have lost their 'straightness' from dropping the speaker or rolling it around in the van, the Jumper may be intermittently making contact.
Of course when full voltage is applied via the volume knob, there is enough to "connect" the jumper sleeve temporarily.
When you turn the volume back down, this repeates the cycle.
All you need to do, is remove the entire amp panel on the back, locate the "Jumper" (near the Volume Pot on the circuit board), straighten the pins, "clean" and inspect the jumper for "loose contacts" (very tiny parts in there!), and make sure it re-seats firmly.
This should solve the problem. If not, I would investigate a crack in the circuit board, etc...

Sony DVD Home Theater System remote control code

I have the same system and one of my dogs got to the remote. I have a philips PMDVR8/PDVR8 universal remote. I was able to get the dav-hdx265 to turn on/off and do volume up and down by using code 0200. I have not been able to get the DVD functionality to work yet, but I will post if I do.
