The curve starts at the top of the screen coming in at the middle aprox 3 inches then curving back down to the bottom corner. It is like looking at a woman with an hour glass figure. Circuit City ''esa'' TV picture curves in on sides

Curving in on ( hour glassing ) the sides is usually the indication of a bad regulator IC. Since it occured after a move, you may also have a bad solder connection or smal crak in the board. To check for cracks ( assuming you have unplugged the power and are relatively comfortable doing so) shine a flashligt from the top of the board ( with the components on it ) and examine the bottom of the board. If a trace is broken you can often see it this way

Did you use the Automatica Convergence to try and straighten it out? If that does not help, you can manually adjust the convergence.

Vertical hold will adjust the frequency (refresh) which would remedy it if the picture was rolling. I had to open up my TV (not recommended unless you know what you're doing) and adjust a "pot" which will adjust your screen's hourglass problem. I hope this helps.

Loewe TV with pin cushion distortion

Yes if you could give me a model #, it is probably a diode shorted in pincushion area, or a capacitor.

This mis probably a cold solder connection in the horizontal circuitry called the pincussion. Theres a couple of coils and resistors that overheat from time to time and the solder connections get loose. Not really for a handiman has this tv has hi vboltage inside even when turned off. Shouldnt cost an arm ans a leg to fix if the repair shop knows what they Are doing. Good Luck
