Question about Lexmark X6570 InkJet Printer
I have the same problem, lexmark x6570 - can anyone help?
Try lifting the main cover as if to access the ink cartridges. Make sure that a) the printer is switched on, and b) the ink cartridge carrier is out of the way. Right in the middle of the bay looking down onto it, you'll see a small black plastic peg not much bigger than the end of a ballpoint pen situated over a silver coloured roller. Use a small implement to push the black peg downwards. No force is necessary to do this, so if it won't push easily don't force it. Once pressed down, the printer should operate normally. I believe the small peg is a mechanical device to inform the printer that there is paper in the tray, when of course there isn't. Try it out. Let me know if it works. As I spent ages trying to fix mine and it worked for me.

If no paper inside the printer and you are getting this error, most likely the printer is already faulty. Contact Lexmark, maybe they can give you other commendation aside from turning off and on the printer. They will replace it if it's under warranty.
