it sounds is if you have a possible crack in the water supply area. if the hoses are good, tight and dry, inspect the housing base they screw into.

SOURCE: Fisher Paykel washing machine model # GWL15 drips

Hi Dale..
It sounds like you have a leaky inlet valve assembly. The part number is 421029P and is easy to replace. You can get one here:

SOURCE: whirlpool washing - clothes are still dripping wet at end of wash

Hello, sounds like you have a problem with your clutch assembly, tilt the machine back and access it from underneath..if you see oil at the base next to the motor this means your transmission is going bad and the oil has got into the clutch assembly..If this is the case you may as well go buy a new washer now since it is really expensive to replace the clutch and transmission. If however you don't see any evidence of oil underneath your going to need to replace the clutch assembly. If you have mechanical experiance by all means try yourself...if no experiance get a tech in to do it :) thanks for using fixya! Mike

Water leaks into my smartdrive 058 machine throught the wash cycle and when the machine is switched off.

you need a new water valve for the unit. The solenoid is getting stuck in the open position (at least partially) and allowing water to continue to come through even after the water valve is no longer energized. This can be caused by normal wear and tear or sediment from your pipes getting stuck in the valve. This is especially true if you have well water or have recently had any plumbing work done in your house like a new hot water heater or something like that installed.

Water leaking (dripping) into the drum when machine is off. Drip is coming from where water dispenses into the machine to fill the drum.

Hi just read your posting. The fault with your machine is a faulty water valve.1st turn off the cold tap to the machine and leave for a couple of hrs.If the dripping stops you have a faulty cold valve. If the dripping does not stop then turn off the hot tap and that should stop the leak.Either way to fix this fault a water valve must be replaced.Or you can stop the drip by just turning the taps off after the washing has finished.Hope this helps and please reply for further help if needed.

Could be a build up of limescale inside the water inlet valves stopping them from sealing properly when they close. Unless you feel confident enough to take it apart you should get an engineer in to look at it.
