Question about Liquid EPDM Rubber- 5 Gallon Rubber Pail
I am facing the water leakage since last two weeks and does not know the solution for this problem. Can anyone here give me the solution for this? Already some has given me the opinion of using EPDM Coatings. What do you say?

Hi ~ I'm not a roofer but am handy around the home, anything but electrical ! First it depends on what type of roofing material you have, this will determine what product to use to fix the leak. Another point to consider is how big is the leak and where it is located, the point at which the water is coming in from outside. To be sure of this you can usually find the entry point by looking at the roof up in the attic.
There are generally two types of patching material available, one is solvent based, and the other is latex (water) based. Cleanup for a solvent based product would be a solvent, like paint thinner, or lacquer thinner. A latex based product would only need water to clean up, if you did it while the product is still wet. You mentioned a rubber liquid but do you have a rubber roof ? Many motorhomes have a rubber roof to allow for flexing from motion and expansion for hot and cold weather. If you have a conventional roofing product, shingles, shakes or any type of vinyl composite, I would go with a solvent based patching product. Much more durable over time in my opinion. Hope this is helpful info. Cheers, Gary
