SOURCE: can I receive Netflix in Maritius

Probably not. Netflix licenses the right to stream in specific regions/countries. Most likely, the app will sense that you are in a foreign country and display a message stating: "content can not be displayed to to legal restrictions/territories".

I have a Westinghouse smart TV and I have the WiFi home but it is not connecting to the internet or netflix what must I do

Hi Samantha
Assuming that the WiFi is working around the house with other devices like iPhone / iPad and other computers?
The Westinghouse TV is just another device connecting to your Home Network via a WiFi Signal. Unless it uses a dedicated Ethernet Cable at the back of the set > to Modem Router Box.

So... the problem would require setting up the Westinghouse smart TV with the necessary settings.
Netflix is just a web site and will become available when the TV connects to your Network & External Internet GateWay.

First, you need to know your WiFi Name & Password.
I find it easier to use the iPhone as a test device to check the WiFi signal and set up details first. To Test Password etc.
There is a helpful tool on the App Store called iNet - Network Scanner - See Below
So... you must find the settings for Network on your smart tv.
Setting the tv for DHCP is allowing it to Automatically search for an internet connection. Thats what most people do.
Just choose your WiFi name (SSID) & Password.

But... you can choose your own IP addresses if you like to keep all your devices on a known address.
Eg. Your Router or Modem Box Gateway address 192.168.1.1
Each of the other devices have a unique address.
Computer 1 192.168.1.10
Computer 2 192.168.1.20
Camera 1 192.168.1.100
SmartPhone 192.168.1.130
You can use the end numbers between 1 & 255
Your Gateway might also use another IP Group e.g. 10.0.0.0
Your really only interested in making the last numbers different from each other.

Cheers

How do I cancel three accounts with netflixs

Canceling Your Account
  • Visit the Netflix home page and sign in. Go to the "Your Account" tab, which can be accessed via a drop-down menu to the right of the search bar in the upper right-hand corner of your home screen. Once on the "Your Account" page, you'll see a button that says "Cancel Membership" directly under "Membership and Billing," the first heading on the page. Click this button and follow the instructions to cancel your membership.
Implications of Canceling Your Membership
  • Even if you cancel your membership, you'll still be able to streamicon1.png movies and television shows until your current billing period elapses. In addition, Netflix keeps your streaming account on file for a year after you have canceled your membership. This means you can cancel your membership for a couple of months and then go right back to it by renewing it and resuming payments, with all of your previous viewing history and preferences still available.
  • DO EACH ONE SEPARATELY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I i AM UNABLE TO LOOK UP ANY THING BECAUSE FACEBOK IS IN MY WAYto get rid of the fACEBOOK SCREEN HOOW DO I D THIS

Hi. First, open your browser.
I'm guessing by your statement that somehow facebook has turned into your home page, so here is how to fix that.
These instructions are for Firefox, Internet explorer instructions are further down.

Ok, now, leave the first page open for now, and open a new tab.
Immediately click the stop button, so that no page opens.

Next in the address bar type: www.google.com and press enter.
This should give you the google website.
Next, Left click on the little g logo that is at the beginning of the address bar, and hold down the mouse button, and drag it to on top of the browsers home button.
It should pop up a box that either asks, or states, that google is being added as your home page.

This is the way to do it for foxfire.

Now, here is how to change your homepage in internet explorer.

You can do this with or without a browser being open.

With is easier, just from instruction standpoint, but after a couple of steps, it is the same for IE

Open IE browser
click the tools tab
click internet options
OK, this will pop up the internet properties box
Change the address of the homepage from facebook.com to google.com
Delete the facebook entry on the homepage list
click apply
This should take care of the problem, but before you close the internet property box click delete history, and have the system delete your browsing history.
It may make a few webpages load a little slower, but it could be a cookie is what is making facebook always be on top.
Delete your browsing history in firefox as well.

Then reboot, and try opening a browser.
It should work normal for you again.

Hi my facebook page is not loading for me to log in, yet all other websites are loading

Hi! My name is Mace and I'm here to help you.

If Facebook website is not loading, then there are some initial remedies to fix this problem.

1. Use Mozilla Firefox as your web browser. Facebook loads faster in this browser.
2. Install Adobe Flash Player, this will help also with the loadings, especially with requiring graphics display.
3. Clear Recent History in your internet browser...everything.
4. On your browser, click the TOOLS menu, then scroll down and select OPTION. Select PRIVACY Tab and click both the "clear all recent history" and "remove individual cookies" buttons.
5. Under the OPTION, select ADVANCED tab..Next to offline message, press the CLEAR NOW button.

Let me know if that solve your problem. Just post back if you still have some question.
Thank you for using Fixya.
