My jvc kw-xr416 is now showing protect in the screen and nothing is working out..what to do to solve it out.?

is there a diagnostic setting for touchscreen calibration. Could have gone bad. you are probably still in warranty, take that bad boy back

My ipod jack used to work, I unplugged ipod then plugged it back in. Now it shows on the screen that the ipod is connected and playing, but now sound comes out. This is only on ipod, everything else works fine

Check your wiring. it sounds like someone connected the phone activation wire rather than leaving it unconnected. The brown wire should not be connected.

hello, if all your wiring to the deck to the speakers checks out well, and if every speaker connected to the that wiring is in good working order, then chances are that the internal amplfier circuit is faulty. also try the "reset" feature before checking the speakers/speaker cabling. good luck.

one of the output amplifiers in the radio is shorted, This would allow a DC voltage to pass to the speaker terminals if the speaker PROTECT did bot operate

If the tv not working buy a new tv

FIRST PRESS THE RESET BUTTON BEHIND THE FACE IF DONT WORK CHECK ALL SPEAKER WIRES SOMETHING MIGHT BE TOUCHING

Connect the parking break as recommended. Then check whether the video appears when parked. If not, send it for service. If yes, then the bipass was not done correctly.

Hello pmdharan, It sounds like the subwoofer is not turned ON. Go to MENU ITEM > SPEAKER SIZE >SW (subwoofer) and select ON. Hope this helps.
