SOURCE: cant hear anything out of my speakers connected to djio

Are you using a Mixer as a pre-amp for this set-up? For example, I have a Numark CM200 where I have all of the inputs and outputs I need to run. DJ IO is connected to Chanel 1 and Chanel 2 Lines in my mixer. The DJ IO is conected to my computer by USB cable. In Traktor souncard settings chanel 1 is set to (3&4) Chanel 2 (2&1) also, devise set up is Numark DJ IO and in External mode. Of course the mixer is conected to my amp and speakers conected to the amp as well.

How do I fix busted speakers on headphones?

Hi Anonymous.

The short answer is that outside of pretty high end headphones, you're not likely to be able to repair them. There may be a small crossover circuit to drive more than one small speaker, but most headsets will only have one speaker per ear. If you're only getting the beat, the speaker membrane or solid state equivalent is probably blown, and the bass you're hearing is the edges of the diaphragm flapping around. These assemblies are soldered or crimped for electrical connections, very fine wires inside the pads, and unlikely to have parts available even if you have mad DIY electronics chops.

That said, make sure you're diagnosing what's wrong. Plug your MP3 player into another set of headphones and confirm that the sound is fine with that set. That isolates the problem to the headphones, instead of some crazy equalizer setting.

After that, if they're under warranty, you might try to get the manufacturer to replace them, but otherwise it's rare to be able to repair headphones at all, or to do so for less than what a new pair would cost if parts were actually available.

Cheers

I cannot listen to a song through my speakers and a different song with my headphones at the same time.Either I hear one song or the other but never the two at the same time..any ideas why?

I believe that only ONE audio system can be active at once so what you are observing MAY be normal. The pro DJ units have two seperate CD players and are set up to cue with headphones. See if you have a "cue" control on your system... Often the clue to these problems is in the manual which one needs to know the name of the function to search for. Learning the language is the key as indexes are useless without the "word".

Songs playing but its mute, incoming calls not ringing

you can check if you speaker is broken by using a set of headphones. if you don't hear sound when using your headphones there is something wrong with your software settings. if you do hear sounds using your headphones you need to replace your speaker. You can buy a replacement speaker on ebay and do this yourself, of search for someone to do if for you. If you still have warranty on your phone just return it to the shop that sold the phone.

Only hearing sound out of left side of headphones

i think the problem is in the jack of your sound blaster. since you have already tried different headphones and the problem still persist, and when you use speakers it works fine. i conclude it is the jack of your sound blaster card.

Get yourself a manual. It will help you. You can DOWNLOAD A FREE COPY of the PIONEER DJM600 INSTRUCTION MANUAL from HERE.

Now, you have to use the CUE button function on each channel to select what you want to hear when you cue things in the headphones. Last, you control the volume of the master cue in the headphones using the CUE volume of the headphone CUE section.

No sound when headphones cabel is into laptop

If you are using Windows Vista, the solution might be that you have to go into your control settings, and set your headphones as your default speakers. This is a one-time deal, and once you do it once, then your computer should auto detect when you are using them after this.

Headphones

Hi,

If you can elaborate on the issue, then that would be great!!

Anyhow, let me assist you in this regard.

There will be built-in speakers in all HP notebooks. You can hear Music and songs through them without headphones.

If there is no sound from the Internal speakers, and if you are able to hear sound from the headphones and external speakers, then the Internal speakers gone bad.

If that is the case, then you need to contact HP to replace the speakers under warranty. If not, service center.

If you can reply with the exact issue, then I can explain in better way according to the issue.

What do you mean you put the master to cue to hear something from the master? You should be ableto hear the master at all times then choose wha channel you are cuing up. Sounds like a pot. problem on the switch or board.
