How to install new oil housing kit 94 f 150 5.0

If you got oil coming out when it's running around oil filter. You probably got a oilfilter adapter. You have to remove oil filter(replace) and let oil drop off adapter. After a bit wipe adapter off and you will foind one alan-head bolt in the center or two alan-head bolts. After removing clean, install gasket or a o-ring it could take both. Don't over tighten bolts. Make sure you clean off old oil where oil filter seats

Chevy oil filter stuck on

try a different type of oil filter wrench, the type that fits on the top of the oil filter, like a wrench that fits on a nut. Be sure the filter is really clean too, any oil on it can make the wrench slip. When you put it back on put a but of oil around the seal so it doesn't get stuck again.

Oil pump does not work

Checlk the oil worm gear is driving the pump. If this isnt the problem then try the following:-

The type of oil pump fitted to these models is prone to getting blocked.
Remove the oil pump. The gear on top should turn freely, give the pump a clean and clean the oil pipe to the tank by removing the oil cap and blowing through with an air line. If the oil in the tank contains alot of dirt, empty/clean and replace. The filter on the oil is an open plastic cage type and often will draw large sawdust particles through it. Easily rectified tho.

My kia optima leaks engine oil around the filter

remove the filter and be sure the is a rubber gasket attached, if so rub a bit of oil on it before replacing, being certain that interior threads are clean and not stripped ( if so replace filter) only turning hand tight, no not overly tighten.

How to change Oil and filt.

Assuming you have bought the right motorcycle oil, filter and have some tools for oil changing..

That bump between your exhaust pipe is you filter housing, use a metric 15 spanner wrench to unbolt it until it came off, placing a catchment below it for old oil dripping from filter.

Your oil drain bolt is located just below your oil filter bolt in fron of your centre stance bracket, this should be unbolted using a metric 17 spanner, same catchment used for oil filter.

On LH above your cluth pedal should be you oil filler hole, you should be able to open it by hand only. All opening are counter-clockwise.

Placing the new oilr filter is by reversing the unbolting process, once oild have been completely drain using a clean, lint-free cloth, clean the bolt and bolt it back in by hand turning it until it is tight fit, then using metric 15 spanner tighten bolt just a little snug (1/8 -1/4 turn from tight using a light force). Use the same sense as when tightening the oil filter housing.

Once those two areas have been buttoned down, fill in the new oil into oil filler neck using a funnel to widen filling area for about two liters of oil, close oil filler then start-up bike let it run for one to two minutes, shut-down and see oil level, if you have dip-stick fill it to appropriate level if need to add more oil.

Make sure everything have been tighten up properly and any oil spilled have been cleaned up.

Now you are ready to go.

Oil change procedure on BMW R 1150 R 2002

Things you will need, Drain pan, 5 quarts oil, BMW oil filter, oil drain plug seal, can of brake cleaner, allen head wrench that fits your drain plug, a oil filter wrench for R- Bike filters, ratchet with a drive that fits the oil filter wrench, paper towels, latex gloves, funnel that fits into the oil fill plug hole. I also keep an old blanket around so I can lay on the ground. Warm the bike up for 5 mins then turn off. Get the bike on the center stand. Position your drain pan under the drain plug . I like to lay out everything im going to use on 4 or 5 paper towels . Remove the fill plug on the top of the left cylinder, set it on the paper towel to keep crud off it. Take your allen head wrench and loosen the drain plug , if you using an open pan to drain your oil , be prepared to fish out the drain plug, it will fall into the oil drain pan. Let the oil drain for 10 minutes. Take some brake clean and spray it all around the area of the oil filter to get rid of all the crud. All the dripping **** should flow into the drain pan if you bought one big enough. Buy drain pans that you can reseal when your done, put it in the car and take it to a recycling center. Put the oil filter wrench onto the ratchet. This oil filter wrench will slip into the filter slot under the engine. Just turn the ratchet untill the filter comes off. Should be clockwise. After the filter is removed, spray brake clean into the filter housing area to get rid off the **** and oil, wipe down with a paper towel and reach up into the filter housing to get all the ****, one final spray off brake clean should clean everthing out.
IF THERE IS NO MORE OIL COMING OUT OF THE DRAIN PLUG, put a new sealing ring on the drain plug and tighten up , snug not TIGHT.
Now before you put the new oil filter on , open up a quart of oil and fill the oil filter up about 90% with new oil, put a little oil on the rubber seal, put the the oil filter into your filter tool and insert the tool and filter up into the filter housing. Do this be hand so you will not strip the filter housing threads. The filter should go on very easy and you should be able to turn the filter at least 3-4 turns until its hand tight, Finish off with the ratchet, SNUG NOT TIGHT. Finish off with a little brake cleaning on the bottom of the engine housing to clean up any oil. Put the funnel in the fill hole and put in 3 quarts of oil. Read your owners manual for your oil capacity. There is a sight glass on the lower left side off the engine under the cylinder. Fill with oil until the oil level is in the middle of the sight glass. Put you fill cap back on. Turn you engine over a couple of times put dont let the bike run for more than 5 seconds, let the bike sit for 2-5 minutes to let the oil level settle, then check the oil level in the sight glass, it should be in the middle. if you dont see any oil in the sight glass after 2-5 minutes add a little oil at a time until the oil level in the sight glass is in the middle. Start the bike agian for 5-10 seconds , then check the oil level in the sight glass. You should be good to go. email me for any questions

Scooter losing power in moving forward when stopped at stoplight. Also, loses power en route. Reached 350 miles on odometer. Went to change engine/gear oil. Took off ''oil pan'' screw. Only ~<50 mL came...

Check your jets in your carbs and also could be bad fuel. Poor some sea foam in it and some new fuel and check to see if the inline filter is plugged and check your air filter as well.
