Here are some tips from, you can check if they are working for you:

  • If you see a black image or if you see closed lens, try completely closing the camera app. To to that, double press the home button, tap and hold on the camera app until it jiggles, and then tap the red (-) sign to quit the app. Then press the home button and relaunch the camera app.
  • If your device has no camera app on the home screen, it is probably that camera app is disabled. To re-enable the camera, you simply need to go back into Settings > General > Restrictions and flip Camera to ON.
  • Simply restarting your iPhone or iPad may fix your issue.
  • Are your photos fuzzy? Your camera lenses may be dirty. Make sure that the camera lenses are clean.Using a microfiber cloth to clean the lenses.
  • If your camera is not working properly (especially focus problems), it is known that some third party iPad or iPhone case may interfere with the autofocus feature. Try removing the case and test to see if your issue is resolved. You may also want to use focus & exposure feature. To do this, simple tap on the region of the screen where you want focus and exposure. If you tap and hold on the screen, you can lock both the auto-focus and auto-exposure.
  • Updating to the latest iOS software may resolve your issue.
  • Reset all settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Note that this will erase stored messages, passwords and other data & information.

SOURCE: unable to open apps

I have the same situation with some apps. For example, my Rock Band will not open unless I restart my phone. I've downloaded an app called free memory for 99c. It's only to be used if you absolutely need more and it will only work for a short time. This will tell you just how much memory you have and how much you are able to free up.

I don't think it will make much of a difference but, instead of purchacing something from the app store directly, go to Itunes and download it from there, that way you know you're at least getting everything.

If you try rebooting it and it still doesn't work, consider contacting your phone company and seeing what they would do; it could be more in depth than just restarting your phone.

I hope i've helped to resolve your issue and please rate my solution accordingly.

Unfortunately Google Play services has stopped message appears on my mobile phone . How do I get rid of it as it comes up after every few seconds

Update Google Play Services to the latest version. You can download from here. You may be getting an error because you have a very outdated version or the one you have is having a conflict/bug with the current Android version in your phone.

Clear the Google Play Services cache. The Google Play Services app in your phone acts like a framework for all the Google and Google Play apps installed in your phone. You can try cleaning up its cache and see if that would fix the issue. This worked with one of our team members! Read these quick and easy steps : Go to Settings > Apps.
Scroll to All apps and then scroll down to "Google Play Services" app.

Then, tap on the "Clear cache" button.

My iphone 4 camera has a frozen shutter problem

This shutter problem could possibly a cause of something that has corrupted the software. For a quick fix try the following: Double tap the home button. Then hold in any of the icons that have come up in the multitasking section at the bottom of the screen. Once the x buttons appear you need to kill the camera app. If this doesn't solve your problem and software restore or update via iTunes should resolve your issue.

Camera lens wont open on iphone 4

Hi Tim,
Are you talking about the built-in Camera app? The camera (hardware) doesn't really have a shutter.

Please try using some other Camera app from the AppStore or try restoring to the latest firmware.

Let me know how it goes.

Please rate this solution if it helps you.

Camera is not functioning
  1. Tap Camera, then point and shoot. Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation. If you do not see Camera on the any of the multiple Home screens, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tapping Settings > General > Restrictions. If they are, set Allow Camera to ON or tap Disable Restrictions (in iPhone 2.1 software or later).
  2. If that doesn't work, clean the camera lens with the cleaning cloth that came in the box with iPhone.
