You should go to your motherboard manufacturer's website and download the chipset drivers for your motherboard.
If you have a separate sound card you may need drivers for that too.

Packard-Bell.DriverUtilities.com go to device manager and uninstall the current driver. prompt will then come up stating new hardware found and will ask you to chose a location to install from. go to P-Bell site and upload driver once in the download file you can open the driver file. I also suggest you go to Microsoft Security Essentials and run a quick scan of your computer( this will update virus definitions and remedy many latent computer issues.

I wanna connect my laptop(lenovo G450) to samsung series 4 lcd through hdmi cable

Hello,

A HDMI cable can output both audio and video, whilst some computer with Windows XP cannot automatically switch to HD Audio output as Windows 7 can. Thus manual setup can solve the problem.

After connecting the HDMI cable, Go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Sounds and Audio Devices", double-click "Sounds and Audio Devices. Select "Audio" tab on "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties" window.

On "Sound playback", change "Default device" from "Conexant HD Audio output" to "NVDIA High Definition Audio".

Your television should have several HDMI ports, select the appropriate HDMI port number and check if TV is not muted.

Hope this helps.

I converted my windows from XP to Windows 7, and now it says that my laptopd doesn't have an output audio installed.

Its an older laptop not supported by hp for windows 7, so you'll need to hunt for the driver or use a usb based head phone or speakers to output sound. You may want to look in a the vista/windows 7 audio drivers section of http://driverpacks.net/ .

Audio problem. computer speakers are working beeps etc, but radio and video no sound

In Windows XP, go to:

Start -> Control Panel -> Sounds & Audio Devices -> Audio
Ensure that your sound card, and not a USB device, is selected for audio output as the default device.

In Windows Vista/7:

Start -> Control Panel -> Sound
Ensure that 'speakers' is selected as the default device.

Alternatively, if the beeps are coming from the computer case itself, please clarify as such with a follow up response.

I have windows 7 running thru vmware fusion. i cannot get audio in the windows environment.

If there is is no sound output in Windows 7, simply run Windows Update to update the sound driver from within Windows 7.

If this fails however, try this procedure:
Click 'Start' > Select 'Control Panel' Type troubleshooting in the top-right search field > Select 'Troubleshooting' Click 'Hardware and Sound' > Select 'Playing Audio'
If a driver is needed, it is recommended that you run Windows Updates. If Windows Update doesn't install a driver for your device, go to your computer manufacturer's website and download/install the latest driver for your computer.
If this simple procedure does not help, reply back to this post and let me know.
Thanks!
