The ice lever and water lever are both dispersing water

If you can hear the auger motor turn, you may have a large chunk of ice in the hopper.

i might be wrong but i have had to replace alot of main control boards because of erratic operation. seems to be a common problem with GE refig's

I suspect you either have a problem with the switch for the ice in door actuator or the auger motor.
Access to the switch is on page 49 and 50 of the manual.
Ice maker auger motor access is on page 42 and 43 of the manual.

Crush/cube solenoid testing AND the auger motor testing are on page 60.

The schematic is on page 68 of the manual. The basic circuit is power from the disperser lock switch to the Ice lever switch to the motor. If the auger motor has the proper resistance then the Ice Lever Switch is the most probable failure. Listen for a CLICK as you depress and let go of the Ice Lever switch. No click = bad ice lever switch.

The micro-switches in the dispenser panel should be the same part number. The parts break down does a lousy job of identifying the exact switch. However, it should be the same part number as item 16 this link:

water stopped dispersing out of water dispense, No indication as to why. New filter was instlled, checked water line, no leakage indicated, ice maker had been making ice prior to this, turned off ice maker to avoid motor burn out.

it sounds like your water valve is bad. you have a double water valve - one side operates the ice maker and the other side operates the water dispenser. the ice maker side of the valve is bad.

you can manually pour a little water in the ice maker ice mold and wait an hour or so - if it dumps the ice then you know for sure that the ice maker is cycling and water is not getting to the ice maker from the water valved

I have the GE Profile BSS25JSRF SS and have had similar problems: fixed the water dispenser by putting a hair dryer on it for 2-3 minutes. Sometimes this will freeze up and needs to be thawed. However, I still get no ice through the door. Hope this helps.

you need to replace the board in the dispenser front housing on the front of the freezer door / larry

check to make sure that the tube that fills the ice maker is not froozen upo and causoing this problem

Did you check the pump at the bottom of the fridge ,and also the solenoid. valve to release the water ,does it click when you depress glass against sensor in dispersal area

Do you have separate levers for Ice and water, or do you have one lever and then you slide a switch to either one and then push the one lever.
