Question about Canon PIXMA iP4000 InkJet Photo Printer
Hi, I had inks fading and replaced the inks done the normal tests .. now getting a 2lines down the right side of the page..???
It sounds like either one the print cartridges is faulty or the printer needs cleaning. If you installed refurfurbished cartridges, they would be highly suspect. There are utilities available with most printers these days that can test these things for you. They are usually installed with your printer's software.
I recommend changing the printer cartidges one at a time and see if this fixes it. I also recommend loading the most current printer drivers and utilities from the printer manufacturer's website and running the cleaning utilities found under the the printer's utility icon after you install the software.
Let us know how it goes.
