a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

hai, If you are service engineer you can do this problem, Please, check the cassette IN sensing Switch. The place of the Switch is right side of the mechanism, Clean S/w with IPA solution & check. It will be ok or other wise you have replace s/w or mechanism.

So I totally had the exact same problem, tape jam, then the blinking power light. I took the case off ( was about 8 or 9 screws). Took a look at all the pretty ribbons inside. Put the lid back on...and guess what...it works!!! Must be some kind of internal reset maybe? who knows...saved me from buying a new one though.

Take your connector with the 3 colors red, white & yellow and plug into VCR OUT. The other end (w/ 3 plugs) goes into the INPUT on the back of the TV. Next insert a VHS Tape & search the TV for input or a channel below #2 for Cable#1,2,3 or AUV Channel.
In this case; Channel AUX #1
Shows / Plays Video w/ clear sound & picture.
