It's quite easy to uninstall toolbar.

1. Please go to the Start Menu. Select Control Panel Add/Remove Programs.
If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, select Control Panel Uninstall a Program.

2. Search for inbox Toolbar in the list. Select the program and click Remove button.
If you are using Windows Vista/7, click Uninstall up near the top of that window.

I have Hotmail . When I try to access any of the drop down menus they are greyed out on this computer -Sony Vaio - but not on my Samsung Netbook . For example when I try to move emails into a folder I am...

You don't say whether this has suddenly and recently occurred or whether it was always this was on the Vaio computer.

This seem like Browser Settings issue on the Vaio that has set the security controlling the Browser. It could also be a Browser infection. So - take a twin track approach.

First improve your Anti Malware / Anti Spyware security.

The following 2 have an excellent reputation:

Malware Bytes (

Super Antispyware (

Download and install these and then scan and purge any infection the find.

If infection does turn out to be cause of the problem, also consider a very effective, free, a Resource Light (does not slow your system down) alternative Anti Virus:

Avast! Home Edition (

Consider downloading the latest version of Avast! Home Edition, disabling your current Anti Virus Program, installing Avast, restarting the PC and testing avast! (if you keep it, uninstall all components of the previous Anti Virus in Add or Remove Programs:

Start Control Panel > Category View > Uninstall a Program > select previous antivirus > Remove all components > Restart Computer.

If this does not fix the problem, either:

1) Manually initiate an update of Internet Explorer (even if you already have IE9), here:

2) Download, install and use Google Chrome as your Default Web Browser.
3) Download, install and use Firefox as your Default Web Browser.
4) Download, install and use Safari as your Default Web Browser.
5) Download, install and use any other Browser (such as Opera) as your Default Web Browser.

If you prefer IE, try System Restore to a time when the Browser worked normally (if applicable):

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore > Restore My Computer to an earlier time > select a date on the calendar and an event in the schedule that precede the Browser Fault > Restore > Restart computer > test Browser.

Resetting the Browser manually is option you should consider if you are very confident, very precise, very patient, very methodical, highly organized and willing to test the bewildering array of settings options. The Setting Options to Reset the Browser are many and varied and some settings changes could seriously affect the integrity of your system. so it is important you remain, at all times, able to reverse each settings change you try:

Launch Browser > Tools > Internet Options > Security > Reset All Zones to Default Level > Apply > OK > Restart computer > Launch Browser > Test E-Mail Page > if solved, close > if not, Launch Browser > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > (Reset Internet Explorer Settings) Reset - take heed of warnings > Apply > OK > Restart computer > Test E-Mail Page.

The final option is to uninstall > restart > reinstall the IE Component of Vista, sometimes requiring the Vista installation DVD to be in the laptops DVD Drive:

Start > Default Programs > Set program access and computer defaults > Continue > Custom (click Custom Drop Down Menu) > Custom (select alternative configuration) > OK

I hope this helps.

Paste text into Pagemaker using Vista

first of all we need to know if what browser you are using.
this issues could be due to a browser setting in the "advance" tab in the browser.
2. did you "select all" in the browser ( found under the "edit tab) then select "copy" then "paste"?
3. if you have Internet Explorer 8 check to see if you have the InPrivate filter enabled. This is under "safety" on the drop down menu.

Communication problem with notebook/printer

You've encountered 1 of the many issues with Vista. The OS is so gargantuan that Microsoft had to ax many of the drivers that were included with XP.,6959,204816596_1019285789_0_en,00.html

Copy & paste the above URL into your web browser & that will take you right to the driver download page. Select the red highlighted "Driver Download" for the 1200 series printers. This will send you to the Operating System selection page. Once selected you'll see the red highlighted .exe file. Select "download now". You should see a pop-up asking you to save the file. I like to send downloads to the desktop to facilitate installation of the software. You can later drag & drop it into whatever folder you like.

Make sure to remove the XP drivers before installing the Vista drivers. Also remember to unplug the USB cable from the printer prior to installing the Vista drivers. The installation software will prompt you when to re-install the USB cable.

Good luck.
