Question about Computers & Internet
My friends bought me a LifeCam VX-5000 for my birthday and I had no problem installing the program but when it asked me to connect the webcam to my laptop (Inspiron 1525), it said that the driver failed to install successfully.
This happened wtih my first webcam, a Logitech Quickcam Pro Deluxe for Notebooks. It worked the first couple of times but a problem came up where I uninstalled it and since then webcams have not worked on my laptop.
I'm sure it's my laptop but I have absolutely no idea how to fix it. I tried everything from uninstalling programs to clean booting my computer.
have you already tried to install new drivers?

The Product is vista certified for 32 and 64 bit systems, so it should work. There is a possibility in dowloading drivers from this site, too.
