Water still in the bottom of the drum. Empty, clean filter and check pump is turning. Once pressure switch is satisfied no water is left it'll allow the door to open, assuming the door interlock is still ok.

Sounds like a problem with the door lock on the front but what and where is another question ,is the water turned on by any chance as it will not fill and could throw this light on .

fit a new door lock as if it doesnt engage it wont allow the machine to start the washing cycle

sounds like the 2 wires on the lock cyl are broken you have to remove steering wheel, lock plate and turn signal switch to get to the lock cyl then the 2 wires run from the key lock cyl to under dash so you will have to run them into the steering column you do need special tools to replace the lock cyl

Mine was the door lock switch, $80. and about 20 mins. working like a champ.
