Don't know your model specifically, but most dehumidifiers have a float that shuts the system down when the tank is full. Maybe the float is not going up and down like it should. With the power off and the tank out, see if the float is descending like it should when the tank is out. Popping it up and down a few times might solve the problem.

SOURCE: flashing light indicating full internal

Just you have two choice when the "warning light" light illuminates...
a. When the internal water tank is not properly installed inside the cabinet.
b. When the internal water tank is full.Water tank must be emptied and replaced back in the cabinet before normal operating conditions can resume.

Proper installation of the water tank is crucial in maintaining reliable dehumidifier operation.
The water tank holds accumulated condensed water routed from the evaporator (cooling) coil during dehumidifier operation. The water level inside the tank is controlled by a float switch mechanism that automatically stops dehumidifier operation when the water level reaches a predetermined level.

When the water tank is full and /or incorrectly positioned inside the cabinet, the (water full) red light flashes and a signal (beep) sounds for 10 seconds. This condition results in the immediate shut down of the dehumidifying system. (compressor cycle terminated, however the fan motor will continue to operate) The water tank must be emptied and/or correctly re-positioned before dehumidifier operation can resume

NOTE: It may take several minutes before operating conditions resume. This is normal.

IMPORTANT: Never tamper with or attempt to defeat the float switch mechanism. (as this will result in flooding)

Hope this helps; keep us updated.

SOURCE: why does the full light stay on when the water

It's generally cased by the bucket not being installed properly. Therefor, the bucket removal safety switch is not being triggered by the bucket, when it's reinstalled. Also, if you bucket has a float valve in the top of the bucket, it may be stuck in the 'UP' position. Is so, jiggle the float handle until it returns to the 'DOWN' position.

Reinstall the bucket so that it fits "squarely" into the holder from top to bottom. The bottom should not tilt down at all.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot & solve the problem.

SOURCE: Dehumidifier stopped working because "water bucket full" indicator light stays on, although there is no water in bucket.

In the water bucket is a float assm. scale forms on the assm. and causes it to stick. Remove the float assm. and carefully remove the scale. Should start working again once done. If not you may have to replace it.

Flashing light is on(power on/off pad)

red lights on dehumidifiers almost always indicate a full water catch bucket , this does not allways mean it's actually full of water , the machine thinks it is , some thing has gone ary with the level sensor in bucket , these most times are a simple float switch, that can get knocked out of position when one is emptying the bucket , also this same float switch also allows machine to know there's a bucket in place to catch water , sometimes bucket is not in correct place to catch water so machine wont start

Hi I have problems with my mitsubishi dehumidifier Oasis Elite MJ-E-142NX-A1 The water tank full light stays on even though the tank is empty. I have emptied the water and replaced the container care

Sounds like your float is stuck in the full position, or the sensor that shows full is stuck on full.
If tank is empty but shows full, problem lies where full signal is coming from.

Dehumidifiers bucket empty but says full water leaking on floor

if says full and leaking on floor. it is full, you say empty, why make sure that it is empty, sensor in container to check level, so if it is empty, sensor fault, but leaking on floor, would indicate sensor ok, and container full

Full light is on and won't turn off

There is a float in the back, make sure it is dropping all the way. If the rear tank isn't fully inserted it will also prevent the full indicator from resetting. Occasionally hard water deposits will build up, and it's usually just a matter of cycling the float up and down by hand a few times till it loosens up.

The bucket full light stays on while it is empty. the humidity control doesn't change. the unit is not going on.

There should be a switch that is activated by a float lever that if tripped will make the bucket full light stay on, and will prevent the unit from going on.

If this light is on when the bucket is empty, maybe try to jiggle the float lever, or investigate why the switch is activated when the bucket is empty.

Good luck on this repair.

FULL LIGHT FLASHES

An automatic overflow switch and Container “Full” indicator light are provided to turn the
dehumidifier off before the container overflows. When the indicator light on the control panel
glows, the water container must be emptied. If the light remains on and the dehumidifier does
not begin to operate make sure the float is attached to the water container.

When the condensate water container is full, the indicator lights up.
1. Turn the power off before removing container. Wait 3 minutes for
any remaining water to drain into the condensate container.
2. Tilt the container forward then lift carefully by the handle.
3. Empty and gently re-insert the container.
Important:This water is not suitable for drinking.

Please rate and god bless:)
