How do I take apart fan

Hi, if you look inside the grill from the back side, you will see there are small snaps inside near the edge of the cover. The snaps go around the entire cover and are about 3-4" apart.
I used a flat tip screwdriver to get push the tab up from the back and the inside of the grill. When you push up the tab a bit, then slide a small flat tip screwdriver on the outside lip of the front grill. You will have to do this all the way around until the cover snaps off. Putting it back on is a breeze because it just snaps together.

Hope this helps.... =)

Cleaning Fan

Tower fans- Clean your fan by using the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner to vacuum the intake grills to remove lint and dirt. For safety purposes, never open these units for any reason.

How to remove fan cover

Hi, although mine is currently not working I was able to take the cover off by loosening the six screws that hold the front grill on - the screw heads are visible around the edge of the outer ring.

Good Luck

Keith

PS - there are then four (I think) which fasten the back grill to the motor
