SOURCE: Hot water in washer comes

Clean inlet screen where hose attaches to machine. Water from water heater is generally "cleaner" as sediments have had a chance to settle out in the water heater. Cold water carries more stuff directly to the valve screen. Check also for kinked hose.

SOURCE: Slow cold water fill in washing machine

Take out the screen on the cold water side of the fill valve where the hoses attach, its probably clogged.

Hi gastang,
The problem is with your water valve. It needs to be replaced.

To access the washer follow these steps...
1.) Remove the 2 screws from either side of the control panel.
2.) Pull the control toward you a 1/4", then rotate it up and all the way over.
3.) Remove the white plastic wire connector to the top panel (it has 3 wires in it.).
4.) Remove the two clips on either side of the top panel. Do this with a screwdriver. Poke the screwdriver into the top panel to engage the clip, now rotate the screwdriver toward the rear panel.
5.) Lift the lid (for a hand hold) and rotate the entire cabinet forward to about a 45 degree angle then slide it toward you. Set it aside.

Here's a video that shows how it's done. But you'll notice that the screws on your control panel are in the front, the video has the screws in the back, but the rest is the same. Here's the video.

After you have access, you'll see the water valve on the right.

If this was helpful, would you take a moment and rate my solution? Thanks,

SOURCE: Washer takes about an hour to fill halfway with water

Check the solenoids on the water inlet valve for continuity using a multimeter or ohmmeter. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty solenoid. I will attach a photo for reference. Hope this helped and best wishes.

SOURCE: water fills very slowly

Did you check the screen filter in the end of the hoses on the washer and the end that screws to the water supply.

Question: Front Load Washer - Error Code - F8 E1 or LO FL Answer Product Symptom:
Front Load Washer - Error Code - F8 E1 or LO FL

F8 E1 or LO FL Code in display:
No water detected entering washer after 13 minutes, the pressure switch input has not been detected.
If the washer has an F8 E1 error or LO FL error, the door will be locked, and the control will be unresponsive. The washer will start a drain routine which takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes, during which time the pump will run continuously. The control will not accept any input during this time. Please wait 10 minutes before trying to perform any functions.
Check the water supply:

Turn on the water. Check the household water supply to see if the hot and cold water faucets are turned on. Make sure to open both faucets completely for proper fill.

NOTE: Both Hot and Cold water must be supplied to the washer.

Whirlpool recommends that appliances be direct connected to the water supply for optimum machine performance.
If a "flood saver" device is being considered:
  • Check with the manufacturer of the device to ensure it will not affect the performance of the appliance.

  • Whirlpool has experienced that "flood safety" devices can interfere with the performance of the appliance. Whirlpool typically does not recommend these devices.
Two types of "flood-saver" devices, hoses and valves are illustrated below. anti%20flood%20hose%202.jpeg floodsafe%203.jpeg Whirlpool Duet Washer F8 Code Appliance Repair Forum

My Whirlpool Cabrio washer model WTW5610XW0 type 588-02 spins then stops and clothes still come out wet.

The washer is unbalanced, make sure it is level and the clothes are distributed even, if this have been check. put the unit on cold water and see how fast it comes in. Safety programmed into the unit if it takes longer then 10 minutes to fill it will just drain. This is to keep the washer from flooding out. Check the water inlet where the hose screws on, it could be plugged up with grit

On brand new machine the water pressure is ok (not great as we on low pressure) to back of machine but just dribbling out into tub... Model F&P MW612WH 6.5kg

hi - these machines wioll require sufficient pressure to operate - but low pressure to a certain degree should be fine - takes longer to fill..

Suggest you double check the hoses to the right valve hot/cold etc - usually there is a filter on the hose and one on the inlet valve, hopefully its not blocked.

I cannot see any other component that would be faulty - as you say its brand new...

Cold water trickles into the tub while it is being filled up

The hot and cold water supply hoses that connect the washer from the water supply faucets on the wall to the water connections on the back of the clothes washer usually have filter / sediment screens within there connection fittings at the end of the hoses, these will collect dirt, sand, calcium deposits, etc.,when they trap enough of these materials they will plug up and restrict the flow of water into the clothes washer. Turn off the water faucets at the wall, and you should do this for both hot and cold hoses, disconnect the hoses from the washer and the water faucets, look into the hose ends and pull out the screens and clean them out by running water and what ever you can use to clean them completely!!!!!
Now look inside the water connections on the back of the clothes washer, where you screw the hoses on the washer, and check to see if there are filter screens in there, if there is, remove them and clean out completely also, then reverse the removal process and reconnect the hoses, makeing sure to connect the hot and cold hoses to the right connection on the back of the clothes washer!!
Try filling the washer with water to see if you have corrected the problem.
Make sure hot and cold hoses are correct on the back of the washer!!!!
GOOD LUCK !!!!!!

Hi the cold water just dribbles into the tub. if I

is the cold water all the way on?

if so, the first thing to do would be to check the screens in the cold water fill hose and the screen in the cold side of the water valve on the back of the machine. if that is not the problem then replace the water valve.

(turn the water off before taking the hose loose)

Problem: the cold water just dribbles out when filling the tank and it takes forever to fill the problem with the hot water flow.

If you have water pressure to the cold inlet valve and the valve's filter is clear, you probably have a failed inlet valve...Replacing the cold valve should fix the problem..Not a big or expensive job..Good luck....Nomess

Water dribbling out of dispencer whirlpool american fridgefreezer

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

Dribbling water when trying to fill up

Turn off faucets for hoses to washer. disconnect hoses at washer, noting which one went where first.. Hold end of hose in washer tub and turn on faucet. If it comes out strong, check the filter screens in washer inlet valve where hoses connected. DO-NOT remove these screens. If you do it can cause flooding by allowing grit to hold open valve. Clean screens without removing them by scraping with small screwdriver and flushing with water.
