Question about Toshiba DKT2010SD Phone
I have one phone line in the office and i want to connect 2 x toshiba DKT2010F-SD. how can i do this? i have tried using a normal cheap splitter but this does not work.
A couple of things come to mind. As a very minimum, there is a little bit more expensive splitter called a 267-B (vs 267-A) that splits an RJ-14 jack into 2 RJ-11 jacks that the Toshiba uses. For a couple of reasons, I've probably used 3 or 4 267-B's in the last 10 years.
The problem is, it only splits it at one end...at the KSU you need hardware to feed that extension. Normally, it's a single jumper from your cable pair to the block on the KSU. Do you know how to do that? If not, I'd suggest you call your Toshiba service tech.
