SOURCE: Problem w/ Panasonic SA-HT700 speakers

Let me show how to resolve your problem since you are not very good at this system.
A/V troubleshooting 101:
Remember the 2 speakers that you mentioned before that it worked.First, locate the one speaker output that work for you before(ex. front left)you will use this speaker output to connect each one of the speaker and leave the system on either tuner(radio with a proper station=101.3) or a dvd with sound, this way,you are troubleshooting two things for sure A. be sure all your speakers do work and B. your source is working.
After you test all the speakers with the same speaker output which had confirmed the speakers are working, that particular speaker output is working and also your source is working, send me an email and i will show the next step.
However, for any reason,if one of those speaker got no sound from the same speaker output connection, please do not waste anymore time, should take it back to the place you bought it from and get our money back and try to buy the A/V system separately(A/V receiver with speakers in one package, separate dvd player, etc.)
Cheers,

SOURCE: I have the Panasonic SC-BT100

Cooling fan is probably dirty or not running. Check the fan by removing it with the two screws on the back and make certain that it's plugged in and the short, black wire (that appears to go to nothing) is "securing" the plug to the board.

SOURCE: CD/DVD PROBLEM ON A PANASONIC SA-HT680

Check your "Setup Menu" with NO DVD in the player. Could be the wrong format, should be 720p or 1080i or 1080p. Are you using Component cables to your TV or HDMI? if Component, check your connections, it is color coded but may be hard to see with most installations. Use a flashlight to make sure colors are correct Red to Red, Blue to Blue and Green to Green. Sounds like you've got cables mixed up. It happens to the best of us! and I do it for a living! Hope this helps

How to connect a blue ray player with the sc pt760 sound system with dvd?

According to the models you provided it looks like the DVD player has only HDMI out and the sound system you have does not directly support that. I would suggest purchasing a HDMI audio extractor so that you can covert the digital signal from your blu-ray to an analog signal. However, there are other ways of doing this. If you provide me with your TV that you use I might be able to advise another work around.

Go on google and look for "hdmi audio converter" or "hdmi audio Extractor".

Make sure to look at review to determine the quality of the product and decide what device fits your budget.

I have a panasonic home theatre system Model No SA-HT690 and want to bypass the DVD player and hook it up directly to my new Samsung TV. I want to be able use the surround sound when watching TV and u

you want to instead pass the audio from the blueray
either direct to the sa-hr690 via one of its aux inputs
or via the TV

via the TV makes sense

so find an audio out from the tv
some only have headphones
some a pair of phono plugs

so youll prob need phono to phono cables
and then your good too go

My sa-bt100 doesn't send audio trhugh the hdmi. I want to hear it through the TV not the external speakers. How do I configure it? Thanks

What TV audio is available to the SC-BT100 that a) isn't available to the TV directly; and b) would sound better on the TV?

I'd look on my cable box for the basic analog audio out and send it to the TV for those times you just want to watch the news without hi-fi. I'd also send the best Video (HDMI) directly to the TV because passing it through the receiver just adds cabling and opportunity for malfunction.

The best audio should go directly to the Panasonic. Period.

Look around fixya for the most common video problems - not passing through the receiver unscathed.

Should do.. after all it is only going to record signals OUT from the TV to the DVD recorder IN... as long as it is wired up OK it should be OK. Wire either Component, R,G, B or Audio Visual, .R, W, Y.
