Question about Oster Golden A5 1-Speed Universal Motor Clipper 78005-010
I got the blades sharpened and now when I put them back on they are not cutting the dog hair.

SOURCE: Blade won't cut
Try replacing the Drive Lever which is located at the end of the clipper and goes from side to side, simply undo the two screws on the name plate/ gearbox cover and remove then pull the lever out. This is the most likely cause if you experiance the same problem with all blades.

Do not use regular oil on the clippers.
Instead use OSTER KOOL-LUBE.
We were told the blades become to hot with regular lubricating oil such as 3 & 1.
We bought some KOOL-LUBE from our neighborhood PetsMart and it corrected the problem on both sets of our clippers (one heavy duty clipper for dogs, one regular clipper for humans).
