Question about Panasonic Vacuums
The suction works fine but the agitator brush won't spin when turned on. I've checked and cleaned the belt and the agitator which seem to be fine. Please help!

I tried the electrical-tape-around-the-wooden-spindle technique. After a minute or so, it's back to functioning normally.

With years of use, you will collect a layer of "micro dust" on the impeller (the fan part) which reduces the efficiency. A toothbrush and some mild cleaner with gently scrubbing will restore it's power.
The impeller is that parts that spins that you can see when you take the top off to fill the water tank.
Hope this is the answer that you need!
